My understanding from the dragon burning the throne was that the dragon had come to a realisation that the throne was the reason why dani is dead. Not coz of john just that the throne had gotten her killed so drogon took out the throne

I saw a theory on that since a dragon riders bond with their dragon is such a deep and magical connection that the dragons feel their riders emotions and over time even take on some of their riders personality. If that’s true it could also be the case that drogon was feeling Danaerys’ ultimate goal of breaking the wheel in Westeros in the moment of her death so he fulfilled her goal for her. I thought it was poetic

Doubt its going this way, but per show and now knowing the truth of viserys' last words, i am intrigued at the thought that alicent could become naturally and increasingly interestested in the prince that was promised, especially by the end of the dance as nearly the whole royal family is casualty to the war.
