This video does not even mention the different councils conducted by the churches of Rome, Alexandria, Antioch, Jerusalem and Byzantium to decide on which books will be included in the canon of the New Testament. Pope Damasus and St. Jerome were not also mentioned. Also the Catholic priests behind the division of the Bible into chapters and verses. This video LACKS HISTORICITY...

I like the correlation between the way the codexes and scrolls were handmade for each copy until the printing press, and the use of stop motion animation, crafting each and every picture and stitching them together to tell a story. Very creative! Id love to be a biblical archaeologist one day.

It's mind blowing to know how the people in the Bible lived in different generations and yet the words they wrote connected with each other... And that is a proof that God is alive... No matter how impossible it may be to think in a human mind, if God has a purpose, then He will do it. You see, the Bible helped so many people, including me, to realize the true purpose of life. And that was the true purpose of the existence of the Bible.

@@AtamMardes Keep in mind that Deutoronomy, a Book from the Old Testament, and era where war and suffering was very, very large. And also, don’t go cherry-picking Verses just because they stand out as bad to you. The Story of Deuteronomy details that The people in Israel were stubborn and evil.

Such a pure and beautiful desire to have! The Bible is the living word of God Almighty. His Word and Spirit are alive in the Bible and have been transforming people's lives throughout hundreds of years and still to this day. If the Bible weren't true, it wouldn't still be such a powerful book--it has stood the test of time. Unlike books about mathematical or scientific theory, it explains to us things that are beyond our physical world, like life after death. All it takes to read the Bible is an open heart and faith even as small as a mustard seed. As you read the Bible you can also pray, asking God all your questions and giving Him all the things that weigh your heart. Put Him to the test and He will show you the sweetest and purest of loves!! May God bless you on your journey of faith!! (You won't regret it!)

@@monu8374 In Mark’s Gospel, Jesus is not interested in teaching about himself. But when you read John’s Gospel, the only thing Jesus talks about is who he is, what his identity is, where he came from. This is completely unlike anything that you find in Mark or in Matthew and Luke. And historically it creates all sorts of problems, because if the historical Jesus actually went around saying that he was God, it’s very hard to believe that Matthew, Mark and Luke left out that part - you know, as if that part wasn’t important to mention.

I love the stopmotion, the landscape, and the FPS, this is amazing.

I spent about six years right under that mountain at the start of the animation, five of which as a park ranger, and I can tell you it is very accurate

Indeed, Allah is Powerful and Exalted in Might. Also, Allah refers to Himself as "We" in the Quran because this is how the Kings and Queens refer to themselves and who has more right to refer to Himself as We than the Creator, Glorified and Exalted is he over that which they associated with Him. Now the miracles is Allah says "And We sent down iron" and scientists from the same species as you and I discovered that iron fell to the Earth from space. Glory be to Allah! As for prophecies, the Beloved Prophet Muhammad (Blessings And Peace Be Upon Him) prophecised over 1400 years ago that obesity would be a worldwide trend, at his time the people walked and walked and walked, they had no cars, how could he predict this. He also prophecised that music would be made lawful by his followers, leaders would be the worst of their people, children would become masters of their parents and so on and so forth. You should the Bible, it says that they cannot indicate everything because it cannot fit in one book. Instead, the Bible concentrates on the important part, the happening of Christ.

@@usejasiri That scripture you're referring to was written by Paul in the 1st Century AD, and it was only referring to the Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John). The reason he said this was actually because many new believers were not Jewish and he wanted to focus on the Messiah instead of focusing on the law and on Messianic prophecy. He wanted them to believe in the Jewish Messiah and then they could learn about the law and the prophets (what we call the Old Testament).

He didn't really give anything. Jesus just went to Earth for a couple of days and had a bad time. He returned just fine. It was more like a bad weekend. No sacrifice at all. Many people suffered throughout they lifes much more than Jesus did for those couple of days.

I really am surprised to see how could you people say such things without having proofs. Okay lets make it clear right? I post here the contradictions in the bible which clearly state that he was not the son of God not The God himself and you try to convince through verses of bible that trinity is real or he is the son of God. One of the many scientific miracles of the Holy Quran is the following verse: Al-Hadid 57:25 لَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا رُسُلَنَا بِٱلْبَيِّنَٰتِ وَأَنزَلْنَا مَعَهُمُ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ وَٱلْمِيزَانَ لِيَقُومَ ٱلنَّاسُ بِٱلْقِسْطِۖ وَأَنزَلْنَا ٱلْحَدِيدَ فِيهِ بَأْسٌ شَدِيدٌ وَمَنَٰفِعُ لِلنَّاسِ وَلِيَعْلَمَ ٱللَّهُ مَن يَنصُرُهُۥ وَرُسُلَهُۥ بِٱلْغَيْبِۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ قَوِىٌّ عَزِيزٌ English - Sahih International We have already sent Our messengers with clear evidences and sent down with them the Scripture and the balance that the people may maintain [their affairs] in justice. AND WE SENT DOWN IRON, wherein is great military might and benefits for the people, and so that Allah may make evident those who support Him and His messengers unseen. Indeed, Allah is Powerful and Exalted in Might. Also, Allah refers to Himself as "We" in the Quran because this is how the Kings and Queens refer to themselves and who has more right to refer to Himself as We than the Creator, Glorified and Exalted is he over that which they associated with Him. Now the miracles is Allah says "And We sent down iron" and scientists from the same species as you and I discovered that iron fell to the Earth from space. Glory be to Allah! As for prophecies, the Beloved Prophet Muhammad (Blessings And Peace Be Upon Him) prophecised over 1400 years ago that obesity would be a worldwide trend, at his time the people walked and walked and walked, they had no cars, how could he predict this. He also prophecised that music would be made lawful by his followers, leaders would be the worst of their people, children would become masters of their parents and so on and so forth. When the narrator said there’s more to discover I immediately thought of the Book of Mormon (which I believe is more sacred scripture that testifies of Jesus Christ in our day) and also how I look forward to more scripture to be discovered of stories and the faith of the lost tribes of Israel. What an exciting time to be alive and have access to the Bible and more sacred text. All thanks be to God, may He be with us all through these times. God bless.

This documented some of the history of the Bible, not other books, so it's fine. Finding the scrolls is not the history of printing.
