The highest proof cocktail I've ever had | How to Drink

I'm making Michael Scott's famous One of Everything as served at Moroccan Christmas and nothing makes sense anymore. Who even am I? What is this about? The office premiered in America in 2005, as an adaptation from the British series of the same name (created by and starring Ricky Gervais) and it was a huge hit. An insane it. It's got to be one of the most popular TV shows of all time. It's currently accounting for something like 8% of ALL activity on Netflix, that is insane.
One of Everything
1 oz. or 30 ml. Scotch
1 oz. or 30 ml. Gin
1 oz. or 30 ml. Rum
1 oz. or 30 ml. Absinthe
1 oz. or 30 ml. Triple Sec
1 oz. or 30 ml. Vermouth
Two packs of Splenda
Come back on Friday when I'm making the Long Island Iced Tea, which this drink is kind of a version of.
Most of the tools and gear I use on the show can be found on my gear page at: bit.ly/H2DGear BUT, here's a couple of links that everyone is almost always asking me about:

Usually its from the sugar alcohols like Sorbitol, that they use, which is different from splenda (Sucralose?), sugar alcohols are not absorbed by your body and sorta act like fiber, Sorbitol is also used in child laxatives and fiber suppliments

Sugar alcohols (sorbitol, xylitol, manitol...) are sugars, just as glucose, except we don't have any use for them, or better saying we did not evolve to absorb them, so we don't. However, as any sugar, it has a lot of alcohol/hydroxyl groups (-OH) in their structure which LOVES WATER. So much that they compete with the gut cells for water, making us absorb less of it, and letting more out, making your intestines feel like hell.

The trick to cracking ice this way is for them to be straight from the freezer. If you let the ice stay out for a few minutes it will start to temper and then harden. You know when you grab some ice from the freezer and directly to a glass of soda and you just hear the ice cracking straight away as it hits the soda? That’s because it hasn’t tempered. In this case, when you want the ice to crack, taking them straight from the freezer is what you want! 👍

I had those 3-Hour sugarfree breath mint things, two of those bad boys and I’m stuck on the potty for 3 hours. Splenda does the same thing to me. Also side story, years ago, me and my roommate wanted to get drunk but all we had was Everclear and water bottles. Half Everclear, half water. Worst cocktail I’ve ever had. Did the job though.

What a riveting experience this has been and I look forward to every episode that is to come! Keep up all the good work Greg!

One time in college, my friends and I experimented by combining a bunch of random alcohol (the only one I remember is Smirnoff Red, White, and Berry) but somehow they all blended together to taste like vanilla. We deemed it the Captain America, and if we could recall what all went into it, I would recreate it to try and remember how turnt it got us.

Yes, Detectorists was TV perfection. Johnny Flynn nailed that theme song in a way that in itself is a masterpiece. I was really hoping for them to shoot a third season, but no it's not in the cards.

Hey Greg, I absolutely love your videos and they are so adicting to watch. I honestly want to become a bartender just so I can serve up these drinks lol. I was wondering if I might give you a recomendation for a drink to make. In Fallout New Vegas, in the DLC Dead Money, you can get the recipe for something called a Sierra Madre Martini. The recipe calls for "cloud residue", Junk Food, and a tin can but if you drop it out of your inventory it has the appearance of a whiskey bottle that darker and labeled "Sierra Madre Martini". I know you cant quit follow the exact recipe but I was curious if you could find out a cool recipe of your own
