Eh Obito did more behind the scenes shit like even his kills with the 9 tails were pretty indirect. He made a point of not being super high profile. If he was just going around murdering folk like he did when he saved kakashi after Rin died then we would've heard more about him. Madara even made a point of scolding him for doing something so high profile

One thing you forgot about Nagato is that he has used Chaotic Shinra Tensei before, as stated by Konan, meaning he most likely caught a LOT more bodies.

I would like to propose that orochimaru's kill count is much higher for specifically the curse mark subjects. The sound village 4, minus kimimaru, were trapped with 50-100 other potential subjects that could have survived the initial curse mark. The sound village 4 were just the only ones to fully transform into curse mark level 2 mode, subsequently they kill all the other subjects. Putting orochimaru's curse mark kill count closer to one thousand.

The real killer is Kishimoto. He made Itachi, Obito and Sasuke kill all those people.

Black Zetsu is a real menace, imagine manipulating the father of all Uchiha and causing war between the two brother's decendants, generations after generation and making the Senju (The clan of love) to the Clan of war. This Zetsu managed to change the stone tablet so the Uchihas think that killing gives them ms, pretends to be Madara's ally and then backstab him. Black Zetsu lowkey planned the whole series out.

I mean if we're going to get technical than Obito deserves an honorable mention. With the genjutsu on Yagura that caused some long term death, the uchiha clan massacre (that's a lot of women, children and maybe elderly killed... ffs he killed his own grandma then), the few blood mist ninja after he saw Rin killed by Kakashi, the Kyubi rampage in Konoha was his doing, the manipulation of the Akatsuki... he may not have done much direct killings, but he is responsible for a whole lot in the grand sceme of things.

You can never forget the OG Kabuto Yakushi, someone who came from nothing to killing 1000 of shinobis and then using them as an Edo and than Reviving Madara who killed many Shinobi in the 4th Great Ninja War, Kabuto takes the number 1 spot for Sure.

I think that the big issue is direct vs indirect killing here. Like sure Kabuto did stuff that ended up with a lot of dead but he didn't go through and murder a bunch of people himself. If anything he'd end up in the honorable mentions list for being indirectly responsible for an alarming amount of deaths

And Madara's kills mentioned are just during the 4th Great Shinobi War. It doesn't even start from the multiple Adult Senju he killed as a child and everyone else throuought his life.

Obito controlling the Mizukage is dope lore, Obito was up to all kinds of shit.

Despite murdering hundreds if not thousands of people... Naruto called Obito the coolest. 😎

Great video but you forgot also a couple of people: Chiyo: she created a lot of poisons, fought in the 2nd and perhaps even 3rd war and wiped out an entire castle. Kabuto: he helped Orochimaru with his experiments on people and killed hundreds just for his Edo Tensei army Obito: fought in the 3rd war, killed the Hidden Mist ANBU group, used Kurama to greatly damage Konoha, mind controlled Yagura, manipulated Nagato and the Akatsuki, started 4th war etc. Truly the coolest guy. Black Zetsu: based on his account he started the feud between Sage's sons which lasted ca. 1000 years, started 1st, 2nd and 3rd world wars, created Akatsuki etc.

I can see Itachi performing Multi Shadow Clone Jutsu when he slaughtered the Uchiha Clan.

Deidara must have a ridiculous kill count too, he was going to casually nuke the hidden sand and IIRC he destroys a village “onscreen” in one of the light novels. So was he probably wiping out entire villages on a regular basis.

Unrelated to this specific topic, but what if Rin got control of Isobu? like for whatever reason Madara didn't manage to get a seal on Rin's heart, and everything plays out the same until the point where Rin normally commits seppuku on Kakashi's chidori she doesn't… assuming Obito still shows up, or even if he doesn't, this would drastically change the timeline of Minato's team 7

What does country even mean though? We can be pretty sure it wasnt a country like the 5 great nations or wed have heard more about it plus he got beaten by a chunin and a elderly lady. We see a lot of comparatively small nations onnthe map, and much of the naruto world that wee see is quite rural, one of these smaller countries might only have had a standing army of a few thousand plus a handful of local militia. But the actual size of army doesnt matter. When you're talking about warfare, a country can be defeated in a single decisive battle (we see this when kakashi ad minato effectively win the third great ninja war by destroying a bridge) if Sasori used his Performace of 100 technique a few times in a conflict with a small nation,the fact that could spawn 100 highly durable soldiers that all act according to his will without question would be enough to bring his opponents to the negotiating table adend the war favourably for his side. The line "I once used this took take down a country" could mean: in a decisive attack on the capital/ strategic point that win us the war or it could mean; this jitsu was so effective that its use in that conflict essentially won the war by itself. Tl;dr Just because sasori said his technique took downs country, doesnt mean it litterally sank a entire nation into the ocean and slaughtered everyone inside.

Sakumo should probably be on the list since his reputation as ninja was said to be excel the sannin, and we know the leaf loves bloodying their hands and they were at war. Who knows how much the WhiteFang killed to making shinobis from other villages to recognise him. When Kakashi was fighting a stone shinobi using his fathers sword, the stone shinobi got scared and said if he is white fang. Even the Yellow Flash, the guy who killed countless of shinobi acknowledged him.

I’ve always assumed that a lot of the profits that the Akatsuki was making went into funding the rain village. The entire village had few Shinobi after Nagato took over and were very isolationist and protective of their information. This most likely meant that they village wasn’t formally taking too many missions compared to other villages. So the money to supply the villages most likely came from the hefty fees I’m guessing the Akatsuki charges for since they’re operating with S-rank shinobi’s.

I feel like you should add Obito to the honorable members list at least since he started the fourth great shinobi war and probably killed as many people as Madara especially as the ten tails jinchuriki.

You should do a top 10 people in Naruto who caused the most deaths, they wouldn’t have to be directly responsible either. I feel like Hagoromo didn't do it to nearly as much as an extent as Shibai did, as he didn't eat any Chakrs Fruits, that is a very valid point. So would that class Hagoromo as an Otsutsuki Lesser God? I guess it depends on how strong you think Hagoromo is.

What you said is a valid point, but one could argue that hagoromo is on an higher level because he ascended "naturally" like Buddha, while shibai forced the process via chakra fruits, so he might not be a manifestation of the pure lands like hagoromo is. At this point, kishimoto could write one or the other depending on what he wants: we don't have any element to argue one or the other is the right one for sure.

Does it ever really state the difference in ascension between Hagoromo and Shibai? Did Shibai go to a different place? Hagoromo seems to only be able to look after Earth, or maybe not, but I've never seen or heard it stated.

I'd like to point out that I believe when Naruto is being explained the Blood Mist tradition, he's also told that Zabuza wasn't even a student when he killed the class.

i agree with Kakashi having high body count because he was thrown into the war battlefield frontline since what 12?13? or even younger because he was made a genin at 5. being in team minato who obviously was an important konoha jounin that time made him deal with even more missions/battles thus killed more people than average team. and then he was made captain at very young age leading in war battlefied - so even more people killed. added with his 10 years as ANBU went for countless assasination missions.he was given the nickname "cold-bloded kakashi" during his anbu years. and that was ONLY before he even become leader of team 7 with naruto,sasuke and sakura.

its really weird that 3rd raikage died at all from chakra loss. Nick assumes he was fighting for his life for 3 days straight hence the chakra consumption death... but to fight for 3 days, against 10k ppl, he really cannot be fighting for his life. idr how long the 4th war was but if you highballed it to 4 days, naruto ran out of chakra like two or 3 times and had avenues to refill or not use it for a while. madara and hashirama faught for about 24-48 hours and exhausted all of hashiramas chakra... save one wood clone, and the ninetails was removed from the battle pretty early on. for raikage to have fought for 3 days for his life that entire time , other than the fact he can casually speed blitz through large sections of 10k ppl, he shouldve died from chakra loss a lot sooner. the more likely thing, is he casually took his time to personally beat ppl to death while he simply couldnt die. cause all he has to do is keep up the chakra cloak since no one in that 10k likely have the AP to hurt him. like taking a relatively active grown man in his early 30s against a bunch of 2 yr olds. like 2k 2 yrs olds. ya he could fight for his life and slaughter a few of them and exhaust himself to the point he dies but whats more likely is he was using such a little amount of chakra that he was actually able to survive that long.

in fact we can name a few ppl that could probably achieve 3 days or more fighting 10k fodder nin. Naruto, sasuke (if you assume his using mostly taijutsu), madara, obito, nagato, hashirama, probably most uzumaki actually so kushina.., minato probably, sakura, orochimaru and tsunade. lol itachi assuming he wouldnt go blind but they are fodder so he shouldnt. and thats simply because fodder nin are like drops in the buckets to these ppl. they would only take themselves out by using massive attacks and draining themselves. but most of them have so much chakra and stamina that if they were only taijutsu at the time, its not hard to imagine a 3 day, 10k, beat down extravaganza hosted by one of the names above

Nick definitely forgot Hidan, whom we don't have a concrete number for but can safely assume he has killed more people than at least Zabusa. Granny Chio probably also has a couple of kills under her belt before Tsunade came in to safe the day. Lastly it feels a little bit like cheating not to include Nagatos reborn kills. He only revived them after Naruto talknojutsued him so I feel like the resurrection is mostly on Naruto.

I would've loved to have seen Yabuza later in the series, with the same fighting style. Reason being is, he would've been a lot more powerful.

Before watching the video. Im going to guess some of the top options. 3rd raikage (he killed was fighting 10k people when he died. He didnt kill all of them but im sure he didnt stop killing until he died. I say at least 3k for him) Minato killed 1k shinobi at once durying the 3rd war (man, that war had casualties) The zetzu army killed thousands of shinobi. Chiyo?

A regular portion of ramen contains around 7 grams of salt, which is really high considering the recommended daily intake. Excessive salt intake is strictly tied to heart diseases, which is the most common death, 1/5 people die that way. Konoha has something around 80.000 people and every year on average 1% of the population dies of "natural" causes (old age, disease, ecc). So every year 800 people die in Konoha of natural causes, of which 160 of heart disease. Multiply for around 40 years in business and you get 6.400 people. That's the kill count for the man missing in the list, Ichiraku the Silent Killer of Konoha.

There is one thing I was always wondering about becomeing chunin and jonin. Maybe you have some answers and could make video about it. When we see exam that happens 2? 4? (I dont remember) times a year from all villages only 1 ninja pass. Even if we assume all ninja who came to last exam would pass every time there is 40 max chunins per year for all 5 villages (plus some smaller villages) per year. And when you said in Konoha could be 20k chunins and jonins it just came back to my mind, how would it be possible? Are there other ways to became more than genin?

The hokage could promote 20 ninja to chunin if he sees they are fit. Shikamaru was the only one because he was the only one they saw fit for the position. Although I believe Sasuke definitely should have as well, and probably Rock Lee and Neji

Something in addition to Minatos 2 know accomplishments, he didnt fuck around in the 3rd shinobi war, he was all business, if he saw someone and thought they were gonna do something, he killed them no questions asked, his body count is almost definitely a lot higher than 2k.

I was really hoping Kakuzu was going to crack this list. Hear me out. Kakuzu fought Hashirama, and almost killed him! So Kakuzu was a super high level ninja way before almost any of these guys were in diapers. 65 years after Konoha was founded Naruto was born. All the while Kakuzu is running around killing people for money. Fastforward 16 years later, roughly, and Kakuzu is killed by Naruto and Kakashi. That's almost 100 years that this man was out there purging people for money. He has to make top 3 just off of speculation alone imo.

You should do a video explaining the crystal style used by Goran

The thing with kakashi is that his nickname while in the anbu/ root was cold blooded kakashi, I want a nickname like that
