The Cloud really hate the Leaf. They ambushed and killed Tobirama, they tried kidnapping Kushina for her special chakra, they pretended to want peace but that was them trolling to steal Hinata for her byakugan. It sounds like they were jealous of the Leaf's power and leadership.

In a way, every village is sorta jealous of the Leaf. All the legends and main characters come from there. Everyone knows and understands the power of the Hokage. Imagine the surprise and huge relief you would have as a normal ninja during the 4th ninja war once the first four Hokage showed up on your team.

I see the point you're making but the cloud itself had nothing to do with Tobirama's death. That was Ginkaku and Kinkaku plus their 20 S rank ninjas doing. Remember the brother's planned a coup against the second Raikage and attempted the kill him and Tobirama with that ambush.

Actually, it sounds more like they're murderous arseholes in general to me. That is _the_ reason there were no cloud shinobi amongst the Akatsuki: what was forbidden in every other village was par for the course for the Cloud. There was no reason to leave in order to do dreadful things there, thus no reason to bother joining the Akatsuki in the first place; they could do all those horrid things openly as long as it benefited the Cloud and destroyed literally anyone else.

Hozuki clan, Kimimaro's clan, Haku's clan, Hoshigaki clan, Yagura's clan, 7 sowrdsman of the mist, 6 tails and 3 tails. Hidden mist literally had most well rounded arsenal of kekei genkai and powers after Konoha. If they weren't stupid they could easily be 2nd strongest village. Ability to turn body into water, to grow bones from your body, ice release, fucking Kisame with chakra like tailed beast, Yagura who can control 3 tailed beast that has defense and his mirror jutsu, fucking 7 swords with 7 different powers and Utakata with 6 tails acid powers who fought well against Pain.

Then there was Jugo and his clan just able to absorb nature energy. If the mist wasn't overtly elitist and had someone with the intelect of an Orichicmaru or Sasori, they could have utilized Jugo's ability or made their own form of curse marks or even just be inspired to become natural sages and help Jugo and some of his clan mates. That along with the other Kekei genkai's would have made the mist try fearsome. Also I noticed that southeast peninsula of the maintaind looked unclaimed on the map. The mist should have been moved in and colonized that area for strategic purposes. If they maintained the clans u already stated that wouldn't have been a problem.

These people were often persecuted by their own because of such ability and on one fateful day, the clan decided to attack the Mist leading all of them to their eventual death. Only Kimimaro was the known survivor until his death by illness.

I'm always surprised on how the Hidden Mist has the lowest loyalty in all of the villages. The Hidden mist has so many ninja who defect that their anbu has a sector specifically for missing nin. You'd think that the Hidden Sand would have more defectors because of their nomadic life

You could compare them to ancient Persia: even though they're related to India, while these had gods of natural forces (a fire god, a god that wields lightning, etc), the persian gods are gods of virtues

Probably because what was said in the video. They had a trash economy built on plundering and a violent lifestyle that condoned killing your allies. Poverty and Violence combined never creates a good living situation. When youre living in poverty and living in a village that supports killing your allies, it would make sense why loyalty would fade quickly. There was probably so many orphans like haku just roaming the streets begging for money. Makes me think guys like Zabuza where right from the beginning, he was only doin contract killings to get money to start a coupe and restore their village. Cant blame the guy.

I always find Zabusa's story tragic. Imagine him a protagonist of a story with a dark past (might be due to desperation, poverty, hatred to those who have means) then he became good ninja rank as one of the ninja swordsmen despite not on the upper echelon of the caste system. Then he can no longer tolerate the injustice on his village and tried to do revolution but failed. And by the time the story started he was branded a villain because he is a mercenary and in run with the village. To think that the first ninja Naruto fought is actually somewhat of a good guy branded bad guy by his tyrannical government.

Here's something that has always bugged me. You know how we don't know the Third Mizukage's name. What if there's a chance that during the founding of the Blood Mist Village, the Third Mizukage had committed atrocities that were so heinous (let's say something involving the creation of the weapons for the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist) that his name was removed from recorded shinobi history.

Very interesting, I love the history breakdown of the Mist Village. I still stand by my stance on the Hidden Mist vs the Hidden Sand. I would still live in the Hidden Mist over the Sand, but of course this will be post Blood Mist Era. You can not pay me enough to live in the Sand.

It sucks that so many people's lives were changed for the worse, because of bad people Danzo, Hiruzen, Madara, etc. The Hidden Mist is one of my favorite villages and it was full of pain and desperation. Madara went down a terrible path when he left the Hidden Leaf, he caused so much pain for everyone he met. I'm just glad the Hidden Mist is what is in Boruto.

Agreed. I don’t know if Yagura was being genjutsu’d by Obito when he started his reign on the village, or if Obito made it worst than what it was, but if so, it makes it all the more sadder. Madara and Obito orchestrated so much. Pretty sure they had something to do with the Uchiha massacre as well

@@ixnexus Well Obito was responsible for releasing Kurama on Konoha which ultimately led to Minato and Kushina's death and not to mention the council blaming the Uchiha clan for controlling Kurama. Also, Itachi asked Obito to help him for the massacre of the Uchiha clan, so yeah obito was acutally responsible for a lot of shit in konoha as well.

Hiruzen was fairly reasonable, he just had Danzo & a couple of elders who undermined his good intentions at every turn. Danzo was the single most irredeemable character, who spent his entire life ruining people's lives. Kabuto & The Akatsuki were the direct result of Danzo's actions in addition to the demise of the Uchiha Clan.

I always loved the hidden mist village more than any other village in the show.

Mei was really interesting having both lava released and acid release. From a modern stand point those would be an insane combination. Lava release allows for the creation of quicklime, concrete and rubber, very valuable industrial products. Acid release could help with the creation of chemicals necesary in chemical manufacturing (using chemicals to synthasize things, the foundation of modern drug production).

Nah the way your consistent and come up with the best video concept to talk about for each video blows my mind, your creativity and attention to detail with not just naruto and everything you talk about is so polished and entertaining everytime, definitely don’t stop with these videos their amazing !

Hm I think that saiken is stronger than shukaku and isobu....not only could it blow bubbles but it also produce acid which is pretty dangerous and well for isobu he has the unique ability to produce corals 🤷‍♂️

I can imagine a bunch of families of redheads in the lower casts... The whirpool and mist village had to have conflict. They could have some pure or mix blood uzumakis from previous conflicts. Then again, they couldve been purged with the rest of the clans...

Apparently the hozuki hydro mode is a hiden technique. And I don't think Saiken is that weak. But you made a HUGE point about the Moist village. They basically had a tiger shark like mentality, so it cannot remotely be surprising that said lower caste would have beef when you're basically reminding them they aren't ish by basically putting their kids into the meat grinder LONG after they were annexed. They were also oddly discriminatory towards those with bloodlines, despite using them to their advantage... Only to lynch them. You created and fostered a culture or cut throat psychopathic disregard for your fellow man and didn't even seem to have any signs of nationalism. These ninjas were barely loyal to this village outside of maybe these clans that got the good treatment. This village created their own chaos and totally deserved it, which explains why folks rejoiced when Mei Terumi took over. Seeing this video, I don't blame a lot of these missing nin or notable characters who had grievances with this village. At least the Sand took pride in their nation. Iwa had nationalism and loyalty down to a science. The Cloud were proud and seemed to synergize well. The leaf, nuff said.

The thing is the Hidden Sand is still the worst village in statistics (weakest military, weakest economy etc) but Hidden Mist would be the worst to live in. Also Naruto world is (probably) a globe! Meaning the Hidden Mist probably does have just a sea (or an ocean) separating them from both the Hidden Stone and Hidden Sand just from the other side.

Nah it ain’t, as far as we know the known ninja world is only a small portion of a continent. There are 2 other mysterious continents in the Naruto world. So as far as we can say the known ninja world is probably like the size of Japan, Korea, and NorthEastern China??

I think it's understandable how that hidden mist and hidden stone can have conflict. The naruto map represented to audience is flat but if it's conform to a globe hidden mist will be right next to hidden sand and hidden stone with few small countries between then. The reason for conflict can be ninja contracts people from small countries would have preferred to provide contacts to sand and stone because its better financially which would have put mist on the back foot, so they formed a plan a per blood mist ideology because they can't up their game as per their geographical position so they are going to cut the competition.

Truly the most tragic village... The Sand Village, the people in that country would've survived on their own because nobody wants it. Yes the current Mist village is definitely the place to be, and they definitely train there ninja very well we know that from Naruto to now in Boruto, the mist village land of water in my opinion has the most/some of the best jutsu they didn’t really give other villages a chance to shine in Naruto till the war arc..

I think the hidden mist could be the second strongest if they could stop their top from leaving. Also i think Muu attacked the hidden mist because he wanted their Bijuu to than fight Konoha and Kumo.

deep fried banana junchiriki it's crazy to think how a single person behind the scenes can have so much influence on the outcome of a society. Obito single-handedly turned the Water village into literal Hell on earth. Then you've got Danzo who kept causing trouble in the Leaf village. Orochimaru messed up the Sand village. And Pain pretty much rebuilt the Rain village.

Honestly, I wouldn't mind a video on the "WMD's/Deterents" of the various Villages/Factions of the Narutoverse (Both canon and Filler), as a lot of smaller villages that didn't have access to the Bijuu had other deterrents (Tsuchigumo Village had Fury, Otogakure arguably had the Eight Branches Technique via their Kage, both Hoshigakure and Takigakure had ways of cranking out suicide super-soldiers, Kusagakure had the implied threat of conscripting the missing-nin prisoners of Hōzuki Castle, plus the Box of Ultimate Bliss etc.) Hell, even the villages that *did* have access to Bijuu usually made sure to keep around a technique that would probably fall into this category also (Eight Gates, Chakra Chains, Susanoo, etc.). I mean, It isn't even just militaries that have access to these deterrents either - the implied threat of Shion's line being the only thing keeping Moryo sealed was almost certainly a deterrent! It would be interesting imho to see a breakdown of the various factions based on their WMD arsenal rather than conventional military might, to see who could go Nuclear if pushed into a corner.

You do realise that it took all six pains to take down the Six tails Jinchuriki and the others were took down by tag teams, yet you’re calling it the weakest beast 🤦🏽‍♂️. It has the ability to emit corrosive substances in forms of liquid or gas it also coat itself in those adhesives so that nothing can touch it, It also has sticky substances that can trap enemies. Has bubbles that literally explodes when they touch their targets and can also drown them. The bubbles can also transport someone floating anywhere they want to go.

i mean if they think he was dead, they would proabably think of a disciple and not of him, so not really, we also know that onoki has fought in all the shinobi wars, even fighting against madara at some point, so during the 1st shinobi world war he was already a kage lvl fighter in the very least.

I'd be interested in a video breaking down which characters were originally supposed to die, and all the details about how it was supposed to happen and why it was changed. Hopefully it's something you'll consider diving into.

I love your content and theories but I do have one criticism on this video. One of Shukaku's feats as a jinchuuriki for Garaa was getting beat by a Genin while Isobu defeated an S ranted Ninja, Akatsuki member and former Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist, Juzo Biwa while fighting Itachi at the same time. That I believe is actually a better feat then anything Shukaku has shown. Granted he did end up losing to Itachi lol but let's face it, it's Itachi we're talking about lol

Tailed beasts are much stronger with a perfect jinchuriki Shukaku didn’t get defeated he got out smarted and naruto was able to wake up gaara who had no idea on how to control shukaku Even though I agree Isobu is much stronger but u can’t compare a perfect jinchuriki feat to a tailed beats feat with a genin jinchuriki

One gripe... Its waaaay easier to travel by water than by land pre-industrial revolution. It would be easier to get from Mist to Leaf than it would be to get from Leaf to Sand.

Which brings me to my next point: the Nokizaru Group. We only see them briefly in a filler arc when the 4th Raikage encounters them and they really intrigued me. This is just a thought about those 2 kages that killed each other but considering how Tobirama was trying to make peace with Cloud is possible that in a short period of time the Leaf could've possibly made peace with either Stone or Mist leading to them meeting through helping in the war leading to hate Leaf more later for getting their Kage killed. I might have missed something but it just sounds possible considering that if they chose to. Mist could have plenty of reasons to ask for an alliance from a mainland village and Leaf might've jumped at the chance.

At least the Hidden Mist gets better once the 5th Mizukage takes over, Star village needed that meteor that made them sick to be relevant. Do we even know where the Star Village was on the map? They still had to wear gas masks because of the poison gas near the Star Village.

The mist’s first kage looks like a pug that turned into a human.

Try to remember that the map you're not looking at is not just a flat surface, it's a globe. While the Mist Looks the furthest from the stone, It's Likely the closest, seeing as how if you pan the map, The Mist and the stone would be right next to eachother based on their locations of this map.

I would love to see a light novel about a ninja from the mist Village and he or she learns to use something like Ocean techniques like creating tsunami‘s and hurricanes. Or like some sort of sage power from the Ocean. I think that would be really cool and I feel like it would make sense because cause we have wood sage mode.

My personal head cannon is that the Mist Village attacked the Stone Village like japan attacked Pearl Harbor but this can't be confirmed or denied because we've never seen the entire Naruto worldmap.

The way your descirbing the bubbles is like they are just regular old bubbles that do nothing💀💀💀and also the six tails can create acid and whatever the cotton candy cloud stuff is. I'm not saying it is the best, but it isn't terrible or weak. Also, the hidden mist definitely got plenty out of both of them since isobu can use water release and generate mist if I'm not mistaken and saiken can generate mist as well on top of making floating mine fields along with acid and cotton candy fog (aka the strongest thing in naruto)

Hello NCHammer , I recently found your yt channel and I quite like your storytelling. Watched a lot of videos but I see that most of the times you talk about the first ninja war, you say that the Mist and the stone could not have been in a battle because they are too far away from each other. Isn`t that the case for USA and Japan in second war ? But they actually are very close because the earth is not flat.

I think assuming a kage died is a little premature the first mizukage may have just step down bc of his age like the third hokage did with Minato then again we don’t know which sucks and imo there should be a Naruto show all about the past wars, battles, and unanswered questions
