you're usually so precise about showing sectioning... but not this time? very difficult to see front bang ponytail and exact line of back crown. love this and have done prior cut but really wish you had shown better sectioning

Oh I absolutely love it! My hair is pretty much straight with only a little wave, so I guess I’ll have to style more, when I try it. But it’s gorgeous! I’ve never been able to get the connection between the front and back before.

Oooh wee! I love this hairstyle! I've watched so many ponytail haircut videos in the past few months, including yours! But I think this one is so crazy good! My hair is thick and wavy and I want to cut more length off. I am going to wait until the sectioning video comes out. Then it's time to be brave! Thank you for all your wonderful videos! Oh my Gosh. Okay folks, I don't recommend that you do this on your own. However, if you are anything like I am, we go for it. I FREAKING LOVE IT. ❤❤❤❤ Take your time sectioning for sure and go to town. Now because my hair is already layered I didn't cut the first poney to the first section, but i did cut the second poney tale to the first section. Whew, i hope that makes sense. Thank you for posting. Mind you, my hair is waiver or curlier but it freaking looks amazing!!! It freaking looks hot🔥🔥🔥🔥. Remember, take your time sectioning...❤❤❤❤

I LOVE your videos!! You are so thorough and fun to watch. They are soooo helpful, however I would recommend to remain humble and not namedrop. I’ve been cutting my own hair since I can remember, for the better part of 20 years at least! And I will say this, I don’t think anyone in particular coined the pony tail hair cuts considering I learned it before there even was KZread.

@@PaulWattsHair and trust me, it’s a VERY useful tool. Lol my mom says that when I was little, I’d try to put my hair in piggy tails and have a total meltdown until they were even. Like that meme where the girl is having a meltdown trying to brush her hair… that’s me. 😂😂

A wolf cut is heavier on top, the butterfly Haircut is more about layering around the face.

but how do you section the hidden ponytails?

what if we dont want too short of layers on top how can we position the ponytails? but still have layers and volume for fine wavy hair 👀

I LOVE these ingenious cuts that stylists never seem able to understand…one once told me: you are asking for a mullet!! 🙄 So thank you so much! Maybe this would work for that “crown” ponytail section? Instead of cutting off two inches all at once, taking smaller sections, twist, hold out as if you were going to cut as shown, but RAZOR from 2” to ends, so it’s not ALL of the hair 2” shorter but just pieces of it. I saw this ages ago on KZread - “Different Razor Haircutting Techniques with a feather styling razor” by JaitaiFeatherRazors, 1:38 in.

How do you figure where hidden pts go ?
