Tua will get paid or some team will get him.

If Miami does not sign him to a long-term contract they will regret it for the long time there is not a quarterback out there has the seasons of tua has had and they will regret it because every time when two would have to play against the dolphins he'll put numbers up against them put numbers up like no other quarterback has and not only he has a chip on his shoulder because everybody's doubting him now he has a chip on his shoulder now what he's worth

I’d like to see Tua go to another team and try to put up the same numbers, without the talented receivers the Dolphins have surrounded him with.

@@gr3415 Their offensive woes were from turnovers however when you compare the offensive talent between the Jags and the Dolphins, it's not even close. Do you think if you put Trevor in with what the Phins currently have that he wouldnt be putting up the same if not better numbers than what Tua did? Nevermind Tua's inability to play in cold weather - he is ideal to be an NFC QB where the chances of having to play in cold weather are a lot slimmer than they are in the AFC. This doesnt even factor in his health history, lack of leadership and other faults that he has as a QB. Im in the belief that u need to keep your QB on a rookie contract or get a "hometown discount" on a franchise QB in order to keep talent around them. Doing what the Giants did with Jones and what Dallas did with Dak previously just waste time and delay the inevitable.

@@darthsadic Trevor was and still is viewed as having generational talent. This isnt me saying so, this is the scouts. He was the top prospect in both High School and University before being drafted by the Jags He's entering year 4 - Tua on the other hand is entering Year 5. We already wrote off Year 1 of Trevor's career the whole coaching mess that the entire organization had to endure. Tua, we can do the same thing. So Trevor had 1 good year, 1 meh year. Tua has had 1 good "statisical year" but was unable to beat any good team or good defense, shown a history of injuries and unable to win in cold weather.. So you got one more year seeing Tua do his thing than you have with Trevor - you kinda know what you're going to get with Tua. With Trevor, not only do you expect him to revert back to his 2nd year but exceed it. As for Mahomes vs Tua with Hill - you do realize that the Dolphins were able to pair him up with another speedster in Waddle, so basically two number 1 receivers. Teams doubled Hill and Tua still heaved it non-stop to him. Oh right, then McDaniel implimented that shift motion quick snap that caught defenses off guard and still do. If the Jags offered Trevor for Tua straight up, Id take it. Trevor for Tua and a first. Id take it. Trevor for Tua and two firsts. Id take it. Trevor for Tua for two firsts a 2nd and a third? Yeah, id do that too. The again, what do i know, only been watching the game since 83...
