The Hayabusa Is NOT The Fastest Motorcycle (But It Doesn't Matter) | Feat. Kawasaki ZZR1400 / ZX-14R

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Welcome to our video appreciating and admiring the three generations of the Suzuki Hayabusa, why so many people still think its the fastest motorcycle ever, and how many motorcycles are there these days that are faster (much faster). Let us know what you think of the Busa in the comments, and where the ZX-14R stacks up!

The main reason I bought a Gen 3 Hayabusa is because that name is so cool. It’s an icon. I like to brag about my Busa, and it’s FAST AF. 😂😂😂

i have to disagree having owned a 2016 zzr1400 /2015 hyabusa and a 2022 hyabusa my favourite is the zzr1400 but there is little if any difference in performance if you check out mcn when they put it on a airfield its pretty much zero difference both are stupidly fast if you have the gutted to run them flat out often it comes down to the rider they are both awesome bikes but i honestly prefer the kawasaki zzr1400 for comfort with bar raisers .

Since 2012 the ZX14R [out of the box] has been the quickest mass produced street legal bike in the world when it comes to the 1/4 mile.

If you want anti lock brakes, it would have to be a recent Hayabusa and that would be lots more money than a 2012 onwards model ZZR1400. This week I noticed that you can now pick up a 2012 onwards '14 for as little as £5,000 on Autotrader UK, albeit with just over 30,000 miles on the clock. On the other hand, the very latest Hayabusa has Cornering ABS and not just the ZZR1400's 'ordinary' ABS... just saying

It's got 190 Horsepower stock and you should try riding one and you'll see why it's better in every single way than the ZX-14R except for the power, maybe, as if you'd actually ever feel the difference. It's got more mid range grunt than the previous two bikes which is what you actually use on the road and absolutely LOADED with tech, up and down brilliant quick shifter, LED headlights, clean and modern design, 6 axis IMU which is a game changer and life saver for most people, 10 level traction control and antilift and whatever else you can think about. It's what it should have always been, a super cruiser instead of a death trap. If they wanted they could've went for a supercharged engine, they tested both supercharged engines and a six cilinder for the third generation and decided that the 1340cc inline 4 is still perfect for what the hayabusa should be. Whoever wants more power can just buy the TTS kit and blast 370 bhp and still be under a H2 pricewise. That speaks levels. Also the fact that the ZX14-R is still for sale in the US as a brand new bike and nearly the price of a gen 3 hayabusa is an absolute travesty by kawasaki. They should've brought back the ZX-14R with a H2 inspired design and that would've been an absolute hit but they didn't. That would've probably made me consider it instead of buying the gen 3 busa like I did. That was a mistake by Kawasaki as the gen 3 hayabusa is a massive succes sales wise, especially in the states, my local dealer here in Europe had 3 in stock, two days later I went into the showroom and they only had the white one left.

Me and many others on the Gen 3 Facebook group have had issues with quickshifter at high rpm and power delay. With "reasonable" acceleration it's not a problem and is silky smooth. But most don't buy the busa for "reasonable". That said, my 2023 is the best bike I've owned. Up there with the 2020 Tuono Factory V4 I owned previously. I only sold that one because the nearest dealer/authorized service was 4 hours round trip.

What makes you think that Kawasaki won't make another generation of the ZX-14R/ZZR1400? I know they haven't done much with the current generation (for over a decade), but what would prevent them from doing something? I'm holding out for a ZX-15R, with cruise control, and with a centerstand (like I had on my ZX-11s).

Electric and hybrid seem to be the focus now for kawasaki and others. Not much room for these big bikes anymore. The time to release a 3rd gen 14 was probably about 5 years ago, same if they were to release a 15 imo. I would be so happy to be proven wrong though! Thanks 👍

Kawasaki is finished with the 14, to much to upgrade it to the euro emission standards, and Kawasaki is going all electric in 2035.

since October last year, I have a 2022 Gen 3 Hayabusa + full-system Titanium AKRA, in India, where I live. Also own the 2023 Ducati XDiavel since March, and a Trident 660 for 2.5 years... yes my Busa is slow, but I love it ... I prefer WHITE colored bikes, not green/black, ... so a big no to Kawa, but if I had to buy a kawasaki, it would either be ZX6R or ZX14R ... (not ZX10R or ZX4R) ... I would get it wrapped with White Vinyl ...

@@ssd9318 why an old Honda model instead of a new Aprilia, also, I never had any of the 2 brands of bikes, yes, have used many Honda cars, but if at all i had to get a Honda bike, it'd be 2024 Africa Twin or Goldwing (Flat-6 / Boxer-six) ahead of CBR650R or even Fireblade SP/STD because I already have an inline-4 i.e. Hayabusa, ... provided i have the funds for a Goldwing...!
