Ok- so much going on here... but I'm gonna focus on a REALLY important thing today... furniture... specifically the DIY put it together kind... does that sort of thing frustrate you guys?! I hope you get a chuckle when you watch me attempt to put together a shoe rack. haha.

The Frey Life 💕❤ I attempted to put together a wooden hall tree while my husband was sick. It was his gift to me. I got less than halfway through it and I felt proud, but gave up because his arms are long enough to do it by himself and I needed a second person. It wouldn't have been so frustrating if I had his long arms, but then I would be able to swing from trees, right?

Has anybody else noticed Mary seems to have been happy and really enthusiastic for life this past few days. it has really brought a smile to my face so thanks Mary you just made my day. And you have been looking really cute lately too so you go girl.

Mary I want to say that I’m thankful for you and Peter as well. Because I too have CF(I’m 43 and counting!!! Go me!) it’s an amazing feeling to connect to someone else struggling through the same issues I do. I just started watching Taylor Stroop and his wife as well; he has CF. Their channel is “Meet the Stroops”. It definitely makes me less alone in the world, as you know we rarely get to hang out with other CF’ers. I thank you and Peter so much for the connection. My school only mentions cf when I join a new class and the teacher tells everyone AND THEN THE KIDS ARE ALWAYS LIKE "cAn I tRy OnE oF yOuR pIlLs" NO YOU CANNOT

Volunteering at a house for mothers and children where the mothers are coming out of drug abuse, domestic abuse, and/or prison. Providing childcare for them and taking them to appointments they need to get their lives on track.

Walking my dog and playing with her. Shes my endless supply of love and laughter.

This is really moving to watch... A lot of people with chronic illnesses are hesitant to show people what their "normal" is and let people know how bad things can get. Mary, you are the sweetest spirit and your strength is inspirational. Also, your relationship with Peter is beautiful, I love to see how he supports you and loves you through every hard moment and how you constantly encourage him and love him every way you can. My fiancé is my rock and my everything, I was on a feeding tube and very sick when we first met and he has been right beside me through every single moment since. He even reminds me to take meds if I forget and cuddles me when I don't feel well. I hope every person finds their soulmate like we have!

I love cleaning, decluttering and organizing! it drains me physically but also energizes me!

Cooking, making a grocery list, then creating and enjoying the dishes gives me energy.

Mine is being with my grandchildren. I have 3 adult grandchildren but I have an 8 year old and 5 year old that come over every Friday and spend the night. I am bedridden and yet they cannot wait to get here and be with me. By the time they leave the next day I am wiped out but filled with joy and love that is indescribable. In fact, they beg to never leave......ever. What that does for my heart is more than I can explain. My cup runneth over.

Debra Dixon I have 7 grandkids which I watch a lot and spend nights with me and they are my reason for living with all my diseases....i usually need a day or two to lay in bed or in recliner to rest after they leave but 10000000% WORTH IT !!!!!!!! They are my life !!!!!!! Have 6 now due to no school :). Thankfully they are really good angels for me :) and two new ones on the way in summer....... I will be in bed by 7 pm to rest up for tomorrows kids :)

Mary...what really, really energizes me most and fills me to the brim is playing the piano every Saturday at one of the nursing homes in town !!! I have had many back surgeries and chronic sciatica, so it is really difficult to sit at the piano....I agonize very Saturday morning and fight with myself to actually GO....but, once I sit at that piano, surrounded by 30 or so wheelchairs with my beautiful seniors, everything negative leaves me and I feel such happiness. These folks may not be able to remember what they ate for breakfast, but they know most of my songs and sing their hearts out...I play mostly the old standard from the 30’s, 40’s and 50’s....Gershwin, Cole Porter, Jerome Kern... songs that they love and remember. It is like magic every Saturday morning, and after 21/2 hours, I feel no back pain, I feel lighter than air, and I feel that I have received so much more than I have given. Bringing beautiful music to to these sick, tired old wonderful folks is something I will do until I just cannot !!

Mary you always inspire me to make everyday a good day. Thank you for that. I have Lupus, ITP, Shogrens and status post 3 strokes and one renal stroke. I battle with my blood issues every day but I am also so thankful for eveyday I can get up and spend wiht my two daughters and my 5 granchildren which are all right here close to me. I am so blessed and they keep me going to make it through one more day. Thank you to you and Peter for your encoutagement.

Serving others and going on mission trips rejuvenates me and gives me so much energy. I feel called to serve and I love that it gives me purpose and provides hope for others.

I just found your channel and let me first start of by saying you are extremely brave for letting people see you at your most vulnerable moments. And second........the way your husband looks at you!!!! OMG! He is so in love with you and it is so amazing to see that! God Bless the two of you!

What sometimes drains me physically, but makes me so happy emotionally is looking after animals. Dogs are my fave and as you know sometimes they can be a lot of work but the pay off is so worth it, they are amazing

Working with/being with children opens my heart up to all the love that surrounds us!

What gets me out doing things is my best friend. I've been struggling with kidney disease for the past 5 years and he's always been there for me. He's been recently diagnosed with stage 4 lymphatic throat cancer. He's never smoked in his life. Myself on the otherhand have smoked since I was 12 years old which is nothing to be proud of.. I have quit smoking 10 months ago cold turkey. It was easier to quit than I thought and something to be proud of. If I didn't have my best friend I really don't kniw how I would have gotten through the last five tears. It's now my turn to be there for my friend. Watching your guy's videos gets me through some tough days. Thank You Peter and Mary for the dedication to your family and friend's and most importantly God!! You two are truly inspiringand zgain THANK YOU!!

I love your videos. My 8 month old son has cystic fibrosis and it’s a lot to take in. Seeing you gives me hope for my son because you are so amazing.

I am so thankful for selfless people who touch others lives. Today I received a phone call from a number I didn't recognize and unlike me I picked it up. It was the pastor at the church my in laws attend. They said they knew I was going into surgery today and wanted to pray with me before I went in. I didn't realize I was lacking the strength I needed today until they uplifted and empowered me. Though I've been through much worse than today's surgery, the daily chronic struggles can beat you down; calls like today's remind me not to get lost in darkness.

We have a little homestead Mary and it's very satisfying to know we are becoming more self sustainable. God's blessings to you, Peter and Oliver.

Ever since I had terrible whooping cough I get flare ups of bad coughing attacks and ever since I healed from bronchitis I’m constantly coughing sometimes really bad but nothing like this and I remember that this is ur life everyday! And then I see how joyful u 2 r, u r honest with the reality but u get ur strength from each other and most importantly GOD!

I am a Paediatric Nurse you have given me so much info. I live in Australia and manage an ED where we see CF patients daily. You are doing something incredible by publicly sharing your days. It’s is authentic and innovative and groundbreaking . You guys are the essence of what getting on with it looks like. Xxx

As a soon-to-graduate Respiratory Therapy student, I really appreciate you posting these videos. I intend to eventually do home care for CF patients, and seeing the reality of your struggle helps me understand the disease so much better. Be well, Mary!

The thing that gives me mental energy but is physically draining for me is running and dancing (ballet). I can't always go for runs because of one of my conditions, but it makes me all the more grateful for the times that I am able to run. My dance company has become like a second family to me. Everyone is so sweet and is always willing to pray for me.

As hard as it may be watching the first few mins gave me some new insight to CF. I see Mary cough throughout the day but I couldn’t imagine the morning after laying all night. I now see. Your an incredibly strong couple and I love watching the ups and downs. Even when my day is miserable with my own health it’s nice to see your faces and it gives me some hope. Hugs!

My 1year old godson and My dogs! They are my heart and soul! Caring for them drains the life out of me but it warms me to the core!

I could feel your pain putting that furniture together. I have to work really hard at not giving up after a small amount of frustration. Way to go Mary!!! I get my energy by having some quiet time alone. From reading, to spending 20 minutes doing a puzzle, it can be anything....as long as its quiet and I'm alone. But after about 20 minutes, I'm energized and ready to go!

Learning choreography for some of my favorite songs gives me so much mental energy even though it tires me! It's a good thing I recently found to help distract me from my mental illnesses I've been struggling with. It's so wonderful how things people enjoy to do can bring them so much joy!
