I saw the thumbnail and was like "but someone already did a no damage run last year, PointCrow" The thumbnail didn't point out that it was a 100% run

Always appreciate explanations like this. It is hard to keep up with all the new stuff happening when I don’t watch streams regularly. The Moon Jump glitch was new to me.

When I clicked on this video I thought it was just gonna be stream highlights of Linkus doing an any% damageless. I had no idea people were crazy enough to even attempt 100% damageless lol

Watching joedun on twitch I was in sheer unbelief of how he could pull this off and I love watching him. Thanks for making this video

Probably 50 hours idk. If I were gonna do that I wouldn't even attempt to go fast, I'd just do a casual 100% (with map guides) while being extremely careful

It wouldnt be possible as you would have to take damage to obtain the Master Sword without being able to item dupe it

@@schechefter5710 I watched JoeDun's video on this challenge, and he did not use a glitch to obtain the Master Sword. He said that the part where you lose hearts is a cutscene and he decided it doesn't count.

I wouldn't call something that has been done in a few years "the hardest challenge in speedrun history". Many other challenges took decades, with an even more active competition. Nevertheless, nice video

It gets worse when you put into context fighting is a minor part of the game... most of it is exploration. Aside from the Divine Beasts and Final Boss you hardly fight and even then arrows can destroy most monsters before they even reach you. Throw on Flurry Rush/Parry related stuff and you are stupid powerful. The difficulty comes on just not messing up for X time... and they made the time EVEN LESS. It is EASIER.

The amount of precise inputs to finish the run is no surprise for we all who love speedruns, but it adds that extra factor where 1 chance 1 fail kills the run completely- regarding the floating head of the last boss whose damage is unavoidable and the solution for that

@@rezopolis Yes the Ninja Gaiden no damage run is very hard, but the run is "only" 15 minutes long. The Brath of the Wild run is almost 32 hours long, that in it alone is hard, but + zero damage... this is insane

The difference is length, ninja gaiden is alot shorter, so if you make a mistake. You lose 30 minutes at most. While this run, if you make a mistake thats 20+ hours gone.

They do count, 100% rules in speedrun.com explicitly state that you have to beat Ganon at some point

Time for damage less 100% glitchless

What a legend

I thought the hardest challenge was the damageless Ninja Gaiden speedrun, but this is similarly insane, especially considering the length of the run.

I actually didn't think the armor upgrades were required for 100%, because none of the in-game systems actually keep track of that as a completion degree. They're just items, you can even sell them. I don't even think quests and memories are counted toward the percentage displayed on the map screen. But I'm honestly glad they chose to define it that way, because that feels like part of completing the game.

Has Linkus done 100% glitchless no damage WW yet? Cuz if not... when?
