Old school workout hits different Better and Stronger
I started training around 1985-86 right in the middle of the fitness craze (Stallone, Arnold, Olivia Newton-John, Jamie Lee Curtis...). The 70s were therefore still very close to us in terms of influence, machines and atmosphere. The gym clothing fashion was completely crazy! Each era has its strong points and its weak points. It wasn't perfect in those days either. But I wouldn't trade the 70s and 80s for all the gold in the world. There's nothing like the 80s!

We must remember old school days... Golden era
Bodybuilding really started to explode into the public consciousness in the 70’s, continued to grow in the 80’s, and then finally peaked in the 90’s. The fitness industry as a whole has expanded world wide and is much more mainstream now than it has ever been, but the golden era of pro bodybuilding came and went and ultimately ended over 20 years ago. You don’t see todays top bodybuilders all work out together at Golds Gym, or enjoy a workout in the blazing sun amongst hundreds of onlookers at muscle beach. Those days are gone for good.
Best era for bodybuilding
I love the 70'-90's workout gym videos. 💪🇺🇲

The more time is pushing us further away from the 70’s, 80‘s and 90‘s, the more golden these unique decades appear in retrospective…a time when life was much more simple and essential, when the world was colored in purple and the grass was greener - the good days are gone…
This era will live on forever, never bettered.
Wish it was still like this 😩

Honestly the only reason I go to planet fitness is because it's all that's open at 2am, and with their 20 dollar black card, I can figure out which of their 5 gyms in driving distance are totally empty or have 1 other person at that hour, and I'll take that over some "instabro" gym that's only open hours where I have to deal with Captain Broccoli 20 minutes on a machine because he's texting and tagging his reel photos.
Always down for old school type videos. Especially 80s for some reason. Looks like so much better environment than the gyms today.
