Ronnie coming out on stage in a whole ass cape / king outfit is cool and all but it doesn’t match up to what Arnold has done for me through his legacy and getting to see the inside mind of the greatest bodybuilder ever on pumping iron

The mentality to put somebody down and call them a drug abuser screams “I haven’t achieved anything and I’m hating on all who have” that mentally is sad and I can tell you’re not happy with your own life. You will put down and hate all who are winning, because you are losing.

So this guy was born in Austria, went to America, became the most successful bodybuilder, made his sport accepted worldwide, became a millionaire investor, married into the Kennedy family, then biggest movie star on earth, right before Gover the state of California.

He was born with extremely good genes, born magnetic charm, born good looks and was in the right place at the right time. Hard work, visualization, staying hungry, belief and all the feel good stuff were all way down on the list behind exceptional genes and luck.

At 67 y.o. watching this at 11:30 p.m. makes me want to workout even though I did Chest, Back and Shoulders 6 hours ago!

Arnold went from one of the best bodybuilders of all time, to one of the most "iconic" actors of all time, to a Former Governor of California, is there anybody in the history of mankind that has that variety of successfull carrers? Arnold Schwarzenegger mentality is on a league of it's own.

There is only one like Arnold...he was unique. I think a lot of his success happened because his timing was right. He was part of the golden age of bodybuilding when asthetics and balance in a physique was paramount, unlike today. He got into movies at the perfect time for him as well in the 80's .

Yes the timing was there - but he’s a typical Type A. Watching his documentary was very interesting. He and Trump ..and so many others like Jordan who would do anything to win even to go to psychological tactics- the use of the word ‘ loser’ lol …honestly they’re all the same. Great to watch but happy I’m not in a relationship with them or they’re my dad.

Everyone anywhere near the top in any competitive field, whether it be a sport like bodybuilding or anything else including a career, has to be absolutely ruthless, including using all the possible psychological tactics at one's disposal. Otherwise they would never get anywhere near the top.

Arnold inspired me to train with weights and it’s helped me over the years to recover very quickly from injuries.

When i was ten, i saw a autograph card from the conan movie, and i was hooked. With 18 (1991) i started to work out until today, i have not become an arnold, but a quite healthy and strong 50 year old straight old white male.... 😁

Arnold is absolutely right and his message is very inspirational...a great role model for how to lead your life

There will never, ever be another Arnold. He dominated in a time when it was just a bar and a LOT of weight. Maybe a cable machine at best. There was no pre-workout or post-workout supplement crap. Eating clean, working hard and desire makes Arnold's name still the most recognisable in the world of body building.

Weights are weights plus he used the same steroids they abuse today... fancy equipment doesnt build more muscle than barbells and dumbells...and chinups build the best arms and back of any machine

@@richardlawson6787 while he admitted steroid use, they are nothing like what is avail today. the compounds are soooo different and add in synthetic growth hormone. Todays drugs are like todays weed. 100 X more potent than in the 70's. His main drug was Meheldestrnalone aka Dianabol & Deca Durobolin. Both the main drug of Russian athletes in the 60's

I felt the same way. But then again I was eighteen in highschool. I couldn't wait for school to end so I could go to the school weight room and use the equipment! I used to even help keep it clean so it never smelled too bad! I felt like I could rotate the world back then.

*Few years ago i loved doing workout, i tried it for 3 months with discipline, and i felt AWESOME* having fit body, full of energy made me feel GREAT, i had never felt that before,,, but nowadays i do not really love working out, nowadays i hate that i will have broad shoulders which i don't want,,, also sometimes i do not like it that i worked out in the first place. Feels like i should not have done that,,, i love being skinny, that's why i do not do push ups,, push ups makes your shoulders broader. Anyways, i don't workout nowadays.

Okay, When it comes to Arnonld Swartzeneger I'll admit, not all the things he said in the 70's were just arrogance. Some of his over the top nonsense actually turned out to be true (like volume training). And I love him for it.
