Wow what great timing. I got one and the core in a trade but I haven’t had the time to really mess with it. I’ve got time off for the holidays so I’ll be diving into it on the next few days. Thanks Patrick. 👍🏼

What kind of thing are you trading to get a whole H9 for it
Hope you have a good holiday, Patrick!
Happy Holidays Patrick Great review
Hey Patrick, great pedal.. killer video.. love the riff at 4:15! I've been using mine for almost 2 years.. There is so much to learn, I have 4 go-to presets for live gigs. My original band, I use maybe 2 presets because of set times (keep it simple) in a rock band setting. Pairing it with a Disaster Pedal midi foot controller.. Great to play with in the studio though, plenty of options in the one pedal. The new bass player in The Who, Jon Button got me on it.
I love it !!!
Did you try making the input source synth bass, to see what that sounds like using a bass as the instrument? Great video, great playing and awesome review. Merry Christmas and happy new year!
Hey. You're one of us! Good piece. Must have H9

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you, sir!
Looks like fun to me.
That is some grooving bass line. O_o
Wow! Great video! Happy new yeAr buddy
Hi awesome video! I assume h9 Max would be able to pull off "Knife Drop" from from H90 completely since it has HotSawz?
I bought the Max last year, mostly for the harmonizer functions. I love the pedal, but right after, they announced that they will not release more algorithms. I do know that is not the newest release on the market, but I’m a little disappointed that Eventide did not have another product ready to take over. The algorithms and sounds are great, but the interface and software are a bit clunky, even after the newest update. I’m still holding on to mine until I can find a worthy opponent though.
Thanks, good brief review. Would love to see a review of the new Zoom B6.
Solid piece of gear like I know its Xmas but 700$... bruh.. :)
Best sterling ever!
You didn't mention anything about latency. I'm curious with all that processing if you noticed any? When you recorded was there any noticable lag in your bass waveform showing you where slightly behind the beat?

Doug Wimbish uses 3 of these in his live rig, so I think it's safe to say they are fine.

@@57precision looked it up and is 2.25 msec which should feel pretty natural. and yeah, Doug is a beast ... Might have to splurge on this. Love the sounds

Love my H9 Max, but ended up re-purchasing my sub n up octaver as the H9 didn't track nearly as well for that particular effect. Like Patrick said, the drives leave something to be desired, but some other stuff (delays/phasers/envelope filters/verbs) are simply excellent. I primarily play my guitars through this but will be soon connecting the bass to see what effects pair well in the lower frequencies.
Wow this sounds like something i reallyneed, but then i saw the price :(
How does it behave on a 5-string?
So, does making faces help? Smh
