The GREATEST Champions League Round ?? | UCL Quarter Finals 1st Leg Review
Спорт
We have just witnessed some of the greatest champions league football of the modern era in the 23/24 quarter finals. Goals, drama, yoda. The games had it all.
Manchester City vs Real Madrid was the pick of the bunch and it did not disappoint. But neither did any of the other match. We have to discuss.

The world needs to stop for a second and smell the roses. This current era of football that we have is truly fantastic, close premier league title races, new rivalries forming, the passage of the old guard from the new. Football is in very good hands and I hope we can all appreciate the amount of wonderful competition that we are all seeing.

I'm not young but I'm not old, but this year is the year I've really been watching more football than ever, even after going back to the office full-time. It helps me pass the time while I'm wasting away, but luckily I can watch and/or listen while I'm there. I wish I was really into the beautiful game during Messi and Ronaldo's prime years, but I was still a "I only really just watch it when it's the World Cup" American fan. Now I have favorite clubs in almost all the top leagues around the world. Anyway, watching this UCL QF first leg round was fkn epic, mates. I couldn't believe I got to witness all of this from my phone.

Just found your channel like a month ago, love it bro! Ps Dortmund is okay at home we’ve had a good month in March/april but we lost our last game now lose this one so we’ll see
I (sadly) started to watch the city vs real game at min 60. Ive heard that Foden wasnt at his best in the first hour, but damn. During the time I watched this game, he was by far the best player on that pitch. The last time Ive seen so much domination from one player was watching bellingham in the bundesliga but its insane to show this in the best matchup of modern football.
Honestly, i was wondering why you dont post videos that often but now that i know that you're not a full time youtuber it all makes sense...
You have the best football content

Me too I've always hated it
Those matches were absolute bangers
As a Bayern supporter I totally agree with your assessment of our match against Arsenal. Gnabry's goal was a result of Raya coming way out of the box and throwing off Arsenal's defense so bad it left them vulnerable and so open, and of course Harry Kane was going to score a penalty at the Emirates, it's like a rule at this point. Big fan of the channel and have learned so much from your videos. Cheers!
"Yoda made an appearance" 💀😭
This is gonna be a repeat of 2013, just hope the final goes differently. Dortmund are the real dark horse this season.
Great video as always Tinashe! Good job standing, sitting is the new smoking. I am happy Dembele celebrated, it was a hell of a goal and the non-celebration is a complete nonsense.
Heard Tinashe and immediately subscribed
There it is, my glorious king
This will be remembered in the same class of cl campaign as 18/19, despite the initial slow start, now do the funny Barcelona v Arsenal final rematch
I watched more of these matches live than I would have otherwise, as a neutral. My club Ajax is far removed from the UCL… I tuned in to both Tuesday matches a little late and… poof, Real was 2-1 ahead, Arsenal and Bayern had both scored one. I’d mostly watched Arsenal Bayern in the remainder of the first half and Real City in the second half. On Wednesday I watched PSG Barça basically in its entirety, after a day at the theme park. Only tuned in to Atleti Dortmund once or twice. Not that that one wasn’t fun, but the match in Paris was great, especially the second half. Edit: You wore an Ajax shirt. I thank you for your support.
Worst part about this all was that my team Leeds United were also playing at this time. So I was just seeing Man City goal, Real Madrid goal, Real Madrid goal, Man City goal. I was like WTF?!
These frequent uploads are crazy we are so spoiled
If i ever meet you: free beer...or soda if you not drinking. God damn i love your videos🙌
I wouldn't say the best ever but the best we've seen in a very long time. UCL 1999-2000 season is still one of the best
re: Dortmund at home. Quite honestly, it’s a lottery with this group on whether or not they‘ll show up whether they’re home or away. It‘s been quite a frustrating season for BVB fans. The on-field product has been uninspiring, they‘re terrible at buildup, their CBs make mistakes everywhere, and Terzic’s lineup and sub decisions have been extremely hard to explain quite often. (He subbed on Marius Wolf and Salih Ozcan for attacking players toward the end of leg one against Eindhoven when it was 1-1. Seriously.) Basically we‘ve been shithousing our way through the season and hoping it works, and frankly it’s a miracle we are still in a UCL position with all of the points we‘ve dropped to mid-table or below Bundesliga teams. There‘s quite a need for a managerial and cultural change at the club- and while I‘m not willing to give up Champions League next year to get there, it nonetheless will almost certainly cement Terzic‘s position if they make UCL next year.
God bless the starry nights of the Champions League! Nights like this are reminders why we love the UCL and the beautiful game.
Never forget the Valwordie 🎉

Those two nights of Champions League football was crazy. Next week I want more.

Dortmund fan here We absolutely do play better at home but we’ve also had some stinkers, including losing 1-0 to Stuttgart last weekend. We struggle heavily in attack but I think it’s mainly a personnel problem. Terzic has just been awful this year. If we start Fullkrug in the 2nd leg we’ll be out of the competition.
Real vs city slowly becoming a classic where each game is insane in the last couple of years
this era of football is truly underrated. youngsters like foden, bellingham, pedri starting to show their potential. kids like yamal, cubarsi turning elite at 16 and close title races in almost every league. well remember this time of football in future as a real competition for other eras.
Couldnt watch due to driving home from the eclipse, but damn was i hype checking the score every couple of minutes.

This is football heritage. Can't remember the last time when I actually enjoyed all QF matches.

I'm happy you called out the Gabriel incident. I could care less as a neutral, but the ref needs to play by rules, not feelings.
mfs who said UEFA shouldn’t have taken away the away goal rule because it made first legs boring🤡🤡🤡
BVB at Home vs BVB Away isn't necessarily THAT big off a difference, but for Atleti it is like day and night. Dortmund's slight home-advantage VS Atletico's shocking away-record should be entertaining to watch, for Dortmund fans at least....
