I love how already in the first challenge we see the clear difference between Doug and Ludwig. I think Dougdoug and his chat having done this before helped them a lot. They clearly moved much better, not oversteering as much for example. And Dougdoug not being mean to his chat can be partly due to experience too, he's done this before and knows screaming doesn't work.

"into weaving machines of the competitors" Actually, didn't the weavers throw their sabots into the maschines of the sweat shops they themselves worked at? At least that's what the weaver did in Holland/Netherlands during the Early Industrialisation: Because the invention of the mechanical weaving loom had put the weavers (who were highly trained skilled craftsmen and -women) out of work, as the machines could weave faster and 24/7 than a person on a hand loom, as long as someone constantly supposed the machines with rolls of yarn when one ran empty and removed lint that built up. So the weavers starved and were ironically forced to seek work in the new industrial weaving mills... but their work there was menial work and badly paid, boring yet exhausting, and they had no say over their own hours, unlike in the past when they had worked self-employed from home in their own shops at their own pace. In England, the owners of those weaving mills used children often from orphanages as there were plenty of children back in the early 19th century as cheap child labour. And work hours were often 16 hours/day. Many of the children were maimed, with hands mangled or ripped off, because they had to crawl under the mechanical looms to clean and reach into the moving machinery to pick out lint or untangle yarn. Of course the foremen could have stopped the machines... but that would've meant stopping the looms. Since a maimed or killed orphan child could simply be replaced with a fresh child and nobody gave a damn, it wa more profitable to keep the looms running 24/7. (Until people started campaigning against child slave labour and forced the industrialists to forego child labour and grant workers rights.)

During the intro he was evil, when he sent saboteurs he was evil, and he maintained that energy throughout, especially when his henchmen turned against him in the Mario Kart fight. Doug, on the other hand, never sabotaged and always prevailed against Ludwig's evildoing.

I can't believe more people aren't talking about the editing the chess game to the music, it's the single most satisfying thing i'v ever watched. (Thank you Keke)

DougDoug treats his chat like a beloved child, encouraging us, never encouraging sabotage, even when we’re behind. Ludwig on the other hand, speaks to his chat like they’re a fighting dog. Yelling, encouraging sabotage in order to gain leverage. That simple love is what gave DougDoug the advantage.

The fact that Ludwig needed saboteurs to even barely beat Dougdoug in Pokémon is really telling

It was beautiful how A and Z crew set aside their differences for the greater good.

24:13 really shows the contrast between doug and ludwig when doug's chat fails, he calmly asks them to try better when ludwig's chat fails, he yells as loud as he can like a child

I love that Doug *praised Ludwig’s chat* for that side b, which indeed would have been devastating if Twitch hadn’t dodged. Ludwig yelling “what are you doing” would only make his chat less likely to make risky high reward plays like that in the future.

I think he's for sure playing it up, but he's also definitely a much more competitive person than Doug.

Everyone calls Twitch chat either chaos or a hive mind but they are neither. They are what they are, a crowd. A crowd with individual thoughts, but whose individual thoughts can be trained on one thing, and if the stars align and they are given that motivation, they can do _terrible,_ terrible things.

It's actually unreal how good doug's twitch chat is at peggle

The thing is Ludwig thinks his audience can control it, but as a member of Twitch chat we have been Training for this our whole lives.

Twitch chat is a fucking hive mind that can even control Doug's future. This wasn't a fight, it was a massacre.

I love how dougs chat is so coordinated (well compared to luds) but is so unlucky its hilarious, were as luds chat is all over the place but is lucky AF (like come on, pigy first encounter and a crit?)

The difference is that Doug was giving his chat calm, comprehensive, easy to follow proper directions (e.g. 21:30) (as well as cheering them on, giving them pep talks, raising their spirits... oh, and being a bit of a comedian (e.g. 21:37)), whereas Ludwig was just yelling unreasonable requests at his chat (as well as a few insults)... Take 22:04 for example. The best example of these two combined, in my opinion, is from 21:29 to 22:31. Edit: Just noticed that the second most voted move at 27:35 was Qf7, which hangs the Queen two different ways. Ludwig's chat wasn't even trying to win!

It’s actually amazing how organized and intelligent Doug’s twitch chat is as a hive mind. They are truly an unstoppable force when lead by Doug.
