I've heard that according to LinkedIn data, several former AlphaDream employees found new employment suspiciously quickly, so people suspect that Nintendo snapped them up to make a new studio (and that said studio is the one making the new Mario & Luigi game). I really hope that's true, and that the spirit of AlphaDream can live on through them.

Having both the Series X and Switch, I’m excited for more games from Microsoft’s presentation (Doom, Dragon Age, Fable, Perfect Dark reboot, that Expedition 33 game). But I genuinely cried when Prime 4 was revealed. I still can’t believe it’s actually real.

i love how people are claiming that prime 4 isn't on switch as if prime remastered wasn't GORGEOUS as well as being 60fps on switch. This is a new game done by the same team that did the remaster. I would've been shocked if it didn't look this good on switch. Also the top left corner on the logo screen tells you it's on Switch, so........

For those unaware, Phantom Brave is a game, now series, developed by Nippon Ichi Software, the guys behind Disgaea. The last actual entry as opposed to just campaign additions was released way back during the PS2 Era. Not even PS4 or PS3. I don't know how early in the PS2's lifespan, but it was pretty early considering this came out shortly after Disgaea 1. As a fan of the Disgaea series, I'm happy to see their other entries get sequels. Still huffing all the copium for a Soul Nomad sequel.

Literally only know about the game because Big Challenges is in it.

The first thought I had when Funko came up was: "Ohh the content creators are gonna be all over this garbage"

I never thought someone could come up with a less appealing game idea than the Gollum game, but the Funko Pop game managed to do the impossible.

The reason you haven't heard of Phantom Brave is bc it was a PS2 game from 2004 made by NIS, the guys who make Disgaea, in the same general genre. I thought that they had just forgotten about it, content w/the occasional port and making new Disgaea games instead. So yeah, it's a sequel to a 20 years old tactics game

I just love at 15:22 Alpharad’s realizing what game this is; like “Oh is this Kirby? Oh wait no that’s just magi koopa-WAIT A MINUTE IS THIS A NEW MARIO PARTY GAME?!?!?”

Not sure if anyone else noticed but the song that plays during most of the Metroid Prime 4 trailer is a remix of the Space Pirate theme from the original Metroid Prime.

Someone in chat called Sylux "Samuel Hayden". Metroid Prime Hunters is 10 years older than Doom 2016, and Sylux was a playable character in it.

alpharad being the most excited for hello kitty was the highlight of my day AND FOR THE RECORD I THOUGHT METAL SLUG WAS CONTRA TOO

bro this trailer is full of so many good games that would usually be at the end or put in at random points and then generate so much hype

Phantom brave had 1 game prior, it was from 2004 and had like 4 different ports (wii, psp, pc, switch) so its a long awaited sequel for the fans of the game And also disgaea fans who have been meaning to try phantom brave cause due to the SRPG NIS games essentially taking place in the same sort of multiverse (though like unrelated story-wise, just in the same multiverse)

Metroid Prime 4 was announced with a teaser on Tuesday, June 13, 2017, during E3. And the full announcement trailer for Metroid Prime 4: Beyond came on Tuesday, June 18, 2024. They finally acknowledged on the first Tuesday after the 7th Anniversary of its announcement, originally on a Tuesday. Absolutely wild.
