I dont know if anyone can relate to this, but if I remember correctly this specific episode of Grand Tour aired sometime around the release of CoD WarZone were you also had to go to the Gulag. And James just out of nowhere saying "I´ve broken Stalins house. Jeez I´m going to the Gulag" 🤣

So, you can tow a boat like that, but there is a much better way to do it. You use a longer, heavier line and stretch it out. You then hold it there and let the weight of the line pull the ship forward.

@@jakelawson5130 From what I know, Japan has a system like that, there's family honor and stuff to think about, so even if something is true, you can't slander/defame them. I'm seeing several countries like this in my searches for more examples, but the legalese is hard to navigate, and you have kangaroo courts like North Korea or other dictatorships that won't even consider the laws if you defame supreme leader or whatever.
