Dear Matthew. I am really grateful for your video's. Thank you. I needed them, aspecially the Nag Hammadi Scriptures and Pistis Sophia. Ever since i can remember God has been on my mind even though i was not raised a Christian. I guess i am a Gnostic by nature. Is that possible? So i have been looking for the right knowledge all my life and i found it here. Your voice gives me peace. I started out listening a vew months ago when it was still winter taking long walks just to listen and be alone. I have been looking for this all my life. I got these aaaah moments in the beginning. Hahaha. But now i listen some of the Scriptures for the second or third time. Once again thank you. Greetings from the Netherlands.

This Golden Tractate is so profound It is still revealing much to me.

@@NAB9717 Back in the pre-internet mid 80s I obtained a copy of Adam McLean's 'Magnum Opus' edition of the 'Golden Tractate'. Like all authentic alchemical texts it needs to be read, re-read, deeply meditated upon to yield its jewels. Alchemical texts like the 'Golden Tractate' seem to be not so much didactic instructional works for linear mentation - they constitute initiatory spiritual exercises in themselves, hence the injunction to repeatedly impregnate the soul with these arcana of Holy Alchymy.

@@NAB9717 That wonderful definition of the Hidden Stone of the Philosophers as 'a mind sublime and an open sea'. In Chinese alchemy Liu YiMing teaches that : 'The Golden Elixir is another name for ones inchoate fundamental nature (xing). There is no other Golden Elixir outside one's fundamental nature. Every being has the Golden Elixir complete in oneself. It is neither more in a sage nor less in an ordinary person. It is the seed of the Immortals and Buddhas'. (Comment on the Wuzhen Pian).

@@NigelJackson Sublime indeed Nigel. The miracle of the unique thing is indeed in us all. Many things need to occur to bring it out, about. The Stone serves to satisfy any doubt. And is indeed a gift and must be sanctioned from most high. Its like you have to put alot of work in to meet God more than halfway. Before you recieve the finger of God. You mentioned in your comment you have re read the text many times. This is a fine start on your part. It will prove a worthy trigger. Unknown to you now. It is being imprinted on your heart. Like a silent pray. And yes you must become a natural philospher above all.

Reading and re-reading, brooding in contemplation upon texts like the Golden Tractate is a spiritual-esoteric exercise in itself, impregnating the soul with its golden seeds, 'animating the Mercury'... The Unique Thing is in us but we have to patiently cleanse and purge the obscurations that conceal it, with 'fire that washes' and 'water that does not wet the hands'...
