Hidden Church of the Holy Grail by Manly Man is my favourite. Highly recommend. Alchemy as a social regeneration undoubtedly time and time again. Moreover Alchemy the History of Science. Newton and Blake new this all to well.

I'm not saying this to religion bash, but just for some balance, there has been far more evil committed in the name of religion including by priests. This goes on even today.
