To clear up any confusion, Gigabyte owns the Aorus brand, and several Aorus monitors are already on the market. This, however, marks the first "Gigabyte" branded model, hence the title :-)

I got mine about a month ago. Great monitor so far. The contrast ratio is very nice. Super dark blacks. Factory calibration wasnt too far off. I never noticed the wobble until you said something. I moved up from a 1080p/60hz panel from 10 years ago. Night and day. 1440 is awesome. Bought a 2080 super to run it. I would recommend the monitor for sure.

I felt the same about curved panels too, but it's done in good taste on this monitor. The 1500R curve is the sweet spot for a panel this size. I use a flat panel still for work, and am starting to like the curve more than it now. Never thought I'd say that either, but it's true.

Pushed all the way down is only 18" high so it should fit with room to spare. The DP cable that comes with it is only 5' so you might have to buy a longer cable.

As long as you have a decent monitor you don’t technically need to upgrade, but since you have a 2070super and a 3700x your setup can benefit greatly from a good 1440p monitor. This one is fine, but as you can see from the video this monitor has its flaws. I would recommend the LG 27GL83A since it’s the same price as this one, an IPS panel, and overall a higher build quality. It’s not curved and it’s 27 inches instead of 32 if that matters to you, but this slightly smaller size gives it a greater pixel density. Lol this is sounding like a sponsored review but it really is a great monitor.

Antonio Cepaj That monitor I suggested is available on pcpartpicker. Another suggestion would be the ASUS TUF VG27AQ. It has similar specs with a 165hz refresh rate instead of 144hz, but it is a bit more pricey.

It’s a bizarre world when tv’s processing is superior to monitors. There was a time, like my first 20 years or so of life, where monitors were often up to 3-4x the resolution of tv’s and even when 1080p HD tv’s we’re coming the processing on monitors were always far superior.

Are you capable of making coherent arguments or objecting to a comment in a coherent fashion ? What do you not understand? What do you find “retarded” ? I’m not explaining the entire basis of display tech to you and you clearly have no idea of the educational and professional background of people you choose to get snarky with so let’s get to it. The onus is on you. What’s your issue with my comment. Respond above a 2nd grade reading level or I’m not engaging you further.
