1990Thunderbolt it’s because they have a different mindset compared to USA which doesn’t value generating the best product possible Which in contrast, NA values making money more They’re was a powerful line Soichiro Honda said before which proved to be why Honda was king back in the 70s - 90s He said somewhere in the lines of “when Honda is tasked to make a new car, we hire 50 new engineers, whereas GM hires 50 new lawyers” Which was a big bulls eye to the ceo of GM at the time. He only cared about making money which was why GM had so many sub brands like Pontiac, Oldsmobile Chevy etc which all were the same base cars just different bodies lol

+JULIUS K Its not that easy, car makers have to put up with all the government legislation (ex: all front bumpers must fall off when the car crashes). This car is probably close to the 100k mark as well, a very competitive market sector.

SlowKlone Yeah I understand all that and all those aren't that hard either to accomplish. Hardest part was to make that car. Price wise it won't be cheaper 10-20 years from now also. I think people will spend that much money to buy this car in a couple of years also.

Great review John! This brand is very intriguing on many levels. As the new models and dealerships start to roll out our eyes will be astonished time and time again. Seriously, I've never seen a car interior (even a concept) that looked that bold. With older Genesis Rspec sedans housing well over 400horsepower - the feeling of comfort and extraordinary design are going to be redefined.

OMG!!! THIS CAR IS SO BEAUUUUUUTIFUL!!! When can we get one like this concept, Genesis? I will be the first one in line!!!!

The car looks so great, and It also reminds me of a jaguar and a Bentley, with the Lexus grill in the Front. If the interior is quieter, I'm going for one. Until I saw the Dashboard, I thought they going to release this car soon, and I am actually in the market for one and I would like to pick this up.

+avicohen2k That's why they're concept cars. They're made by hand with the finest details as one of a kind. They're too intricate for mass production. You can't stamp or mill sheet metal with crazy dimples or cheese graderesque fenders. lol

+Mufaddal Kanchwala its advertising, they get to see if people are interested in their new idea before they build a bunch of them. also cars must comply with regulations and a lot things on a concept is from crazy imagination and just cannot make production because imagination doesn't necessarily comply with law and regulations.....things like headlights being a certain hight off the ground, safety....etc.

It's just one of the fantasy concept cars they don't remotely intend to make as is. Look what Hyundai has been doing with their other models. Just copying Audi, Bentley, Aston, Lexus and Jaguar. None of the creative design features you see here will survive to a production model.
