At least it reminded me a lot of how stray dogs do when they are inviting you to come with to feed the littles once. Ha you ever tested to take a few step and see if she begins to walk away some steps again and keeps looking back at you

    I live in the city, on a quiet street with trees. I do this for the crows, or else leave a lot of meat on the bones. The gristle too, though they have to share, as it's good for me, too, haha. The family comes around every day, and I've had the pleasure of watching them feed the baby, and use our trees as a 'safe place. It's amazing! This gurl could use some fresh, indeed. Take care, from Canada.

    That’s odd, with cats being obligate carnivores you would expect a higher content of meat and less sugars (from fillers like pea protein I guess). Dog food seems like trash on the whole. Maybe ferret kibble.

  • @jennifermarlow.

    @jennifermarlow.

    Жыл бұрын

    @@SobrietyandSolace Sadly, pet food is not regulated, and most contain grains, and a low percentage of meat/chicken/fish. If you buy the 'high end' at a pet store, that is different, but the cost is insanely prohibitive. For this reason, I made my cat's food, which requires a bit of science, but only takes a couple of hours prep/month, and costs about the same as kibble. Even the Science Diet at the vet, has a large percentage of grains. *sigh*

    beautiful fox. You should not hand feed the fox like a cat. The fox is a wild animal and should remain so. Please only feed the fox with a food bowl and water bowl at a distance. Who feeds when you're not around or on vacation? If you feed a fox and it comes every day, take responsibility for the absent days as well. Thanks so much.

    Whilst I know it seems very nice to feed these beautiful creatures, they are wild animals, and you are robbing them of their wildness, because they come to rely on this food, their natural food is rats and mice, insects etc, and recently with lock down and everything, people are noticing a big increase in rats and mice in gardens, these wild predators keep their numbers down, it's called the ecology system, so while well meaning people who think they are helping wildlife are in fact not! I love foxes and have got them in my own back garden, and there was a outbreak of mange amongst them which they passed on to my dog, who was quite poorly for a while until the drugs got on top of the mites, it now costs me £45 every couple of months for the drugs to protect her from the mites ( it is different from ordinary flea treatment), so beware they can pass on deseases to your own pets, the mites can live on the grass, and while I do love the foxes, I do not encourage them as they need to stay wild, humans are not all to be trusted!.

    I have three generations of deer who visit my yard. I live in a rural town, but there are no “woods” for miles. I don’t hand feed them, but give them seed and corn. I assure you, they don’t depend on me for their food because of this. I see them all the time in the area eating leaves and greens. They visit every now and then. I don’t think he should be hand feeding, but supplementing a mom fox diet is not a bad thing.
