The Four Alps - Go Wild

For as long as there has been human memory we have been fascinated by mountains. They have been forced up by the mighty inner forces of the planet. And they are worn down by the forces of wind and flowing water and ice, and by perhaps the greatest force of all -- time. They have been places both of spiritual retreat and high peaks to be conquered. Places where humans have stretched their powers of endurance to the very limits or have searched for peace and tranquillity.

Very interesting video, thank you. My sound is unfortunately off and no CC available, so if there was a comment when the sheep and those marauding birds came on, I did not hear if there was anyone helping the sheep? A few strings of wool I can understand, but that one poor animal had its back and rump full of sore spots where all the wool had been pulled out. Couldn't some wool be kept at harvest time and given to the birds? Or some other sort of nice solution? Thank you.

God Bless you, Jeremey Hogarth, beautiful production. I am very fond of psitticenes, but wow, the beak on that Kia! I am vey happy that humans have chosen to give the Alpine residence in New Zealand back to its Kia. As long ago as 1970, when I was 19, I deplored human interference with the very nature of animals' habitat. It takes the threat of complete annihilation of all Earth, to get humans to WAKE UP.

this is going to sound corny, but I really don't care: It's so wonderful being able to sit here with my cup of tea (a lovely Pu Erh with a smooth, earthy flavor and texture) and be completely at peace watching beautiful scenes from nature from my laptop. I have no idea why everyone my age wants to party and get drunk all the time, because relaxing moments like these are the reason I stay sane. PS: really though, if you've never had a good cup of Pu Erh, do it NOW lol XD

You forgot the "Trinity Alps" in Northern California. In Northern California, The Cascade Range of the Pacific Northwest contains an Alpine habitat, The Trinity Alps, and three wilderness areas that are all adjacent combining thousands of contiguous acres of wilderness type habitat including The Russian Wilderness, The Salmon Mountains and The Marble Mountain Wilderness.
