Quite frankly, Capcom threw a great opportunity away by not revealing any update to this game while the hype for the Infinity War movie is still hot. They could've really capitalized on that. That said, I hope I'm not the only one hoping that this game gets resurrected.

Your not the only one. I try to explain this game to my friends every day and they just laugh. I play both this and DBFZ, and enjoy both respectively. DBFZ feels like marvel, MVCInfinite feels like a SFxT on roids. I have a buddy that I played UMVC3 with a lot, and he won't even touch this game. I'm like you gotta play it and feel it, then give me an answer until then your opinion is irrelevant. It goes back to "first impression is everything", and right now our society will drop all interest in something if it doesn't capture their attention within 3 seconds.

Stoic it's because Marvel and Capcom wanted the newest MvC to be a good starting place for beginners to the series, which was a really good idea, but Marvel also made sure to devote the entire Marvel side of the roster to just characters that appeared in the MCU films or characters that will be involved in the MCU. Therefore, fan favorite characters like Wolverine, Deadpool, Doctor Doom, and even Super Skrull were scrapped which turned a lot of people off. Also it's just kinda weird looking. The graphics in MvC 3 looked way better by comparison because of the comic book-esque design and cel-shading.

Fate862 Tekken 7 being the most lazy on launch compared to SFV and MVCI? Yeah street fighter takes the cake, Tekken actually had a wide range of characters with some single player stuff (Treasure Mode) it even had a story mode at launch and that games story is better than MVCI and SFV’s story mode. Plus the graphics look great and the music is alright with a few hallmark soundtracks (Mishima Building) and the gameplay is great with a great customization system. I’d say there was a lot more heart and work put into Tekken 7 than the other two games.

only thing wrong with SFxT is that your characters health is shared, so you can't play out both your character's health bars. otherwise it's perfect. it has one of the best rosters in FGs.

The only bad thing about SFxT was its DLC that hurt alot of people and the mindblowing amount of it. And the Gem system that people didn't like but got over quick. Also the art style isn't something to against but some people didn't like it too much, but got used to it anyways MVCI tho, on a non-biased level was bad in everything but the feel of the gameplay, which still had a few bad stuff with it as ofc it's not perfect, but that was the only good thing about it. And it's good online connectivity

It doesn't explain why Street Fighter 5 was such a flop at launch... or Tekken X Street Fighter.... or Resident Evil 6... Puzzle Fighter... Dead Rising 4... Umbrella Corps... Devil May Cry: Devil May Cry... That come I can't remember... Bionic Commando... It's almost like for the past 10 years, at least until recently, Capcom doesn't understand who buys their games, how to sell to them, or what they want out of Capcom. ....At least that is the perspective of someone who just wants another Mega Man Legends game. Please... he has been on the moon for so long...

Can you believe MVC used to be the most amazing and ambitious fighting game of all time. Now look at it..

I love how Max got the marvel vs Capcom 1 character select theme on while picking his characters

Carol Danvers was the original Ms Marvel, then she became Binary, the Ms Marvel again, then Warbird, then Ms Marvel again, then she finally became captain marvel. Of course, the Captain Marvel title has been shared around a lot. First is Marr-Vell, then Monica Rambeau, then Genis Vell, then Phyla Vell (those three more or less simultaneously), then Noh-Varr.

Tbh, even though I have gripes about this game that has been been beaten down like a dead horse, this game is seriously fun.

Skeeticus for the most part, yes it is worse, but as Max has stated, they made some of the character better than ever before, and the mechanics actually has depth. But yeah, no one asked for this

As I recall, MvC2 didn't really have endings ether! It had a credit roll with everyone having a party on Ruby Heart's Ship and throwing what's left of Abyss off the side of the ship...That was it.

Everytime I look at Ultron Omega, I can't help but think of Dark Gundam.

Redownloaded MVCI a couple of weeks ago and this game is easily one of my favorite fighting games since SF4. It's still the only game where I have fun in training mode anytime I go back in because I always find more combos and setups that I never thought of before. I hope they can revive the game with a second season or Ultimate version.

It was already said that the people who die in Infinity War will stay dead. Also, they were literally erased from existence.

It's a sad day when players are finding themselves thinking, "Hey, remember Arcade Mode endings?" or "Hey, whatever happened to Arcade Mode?"

i love how when doing the final KO on Ultron Omega, Sigma hit the big Sigma head, while Thanos hit Ultron up top. Now that's teamwork!

Max's love of the game inspired me to pick it up over the weekend. Still feels really rough (though better than at launch), but the gameplay is fairly strong.

And the unforgotten disappointing ending.

I fucking played this shit a couple days ago and I can't remember what the final boss looks like, I keep picturing abyss.

This boss battle looks like it's so much fun!

Max I love watching you play MVCI! Regardless of what shortcomings the game may have, and I'm not naive enough to admit that there are a few, MVC has always and will always be one of my favorite fighting games! If the powers that be decide to breathe new life into this game or the franchise you know I'll be there, and I can't wait to see you play more MVCI! 👍🏽

Gotta say, Ultron Sigma put up one hell of a fight. At least more than I expected, which made it probably the most fun part to watch just from your reactions alone.

I remember playing the arcade in the first days of the game. I had so much fun playing but once I beat arcade there was so ending. I was disappointed and sad

It goes Captain Mar-Vell, who was an alien Kree soldier. He ended up passing his power to Carol Danvers who became the first Mrs Marvel and later changed her name to Captain Marvel. Then there's an Inhuman( who are basically Xmen with alien genes instead of the X gene) called Kahmela Kahn whose the new mrs marvel and is amazing.

Captain Marvel is Carol Danvers and was the original Ms. Marvel/Warbird. Ms. Marvel is Kamala Khan and is an Inhuman that got her powers after a Terrigen Bomb hit her neighborhood after she left a party she snuck out for. She is a fan favorite (myself included and I'm sad that she wasn't gonna be part of Season 2 since Capcom gave up on it). Also, sad that this game didn't get more support than it did.

Im pretty sure he had the gauntlet in 2 but im not sure its been a few years since i played it

DBFZ was my first fighting game but if an ultimate version of this came out, id buy it.

I would buy a DLC pack in this game where they release a playable version of Ultron-Sigma and two more Capcom characters. They could make the character select screen look even at that point by moving utron and sigma in their own row and then having Ultron-Sigma in the row just above or below them.
