7x18's moment is probably the most satisfying one because it shows how far he's come were at first he was always one step behind Eobard but at the point in 7x18 Flash had become so fast that Eobard seemed almost frozen to him when he punched at him (and as you can tell with his lightning he was using a speed punch too).

I'd like to think Barry knew the samuroid wasn't human before letting him plummet to his ultimate demise. Unfortunately, I know he didn't. This man regained sensibility and his first impulse was brutal murder. Also, we're totally glossing over the fact that, when Thawne threw a LITERAL PLANE at him, Barry just tossed it into the nearest occupied building. You can't convince me there were 0 civilian casualties in that scene.

Shots in seasons 1 and 2 had traffic and pedestrians all over, but past season 3 they stopped bothering to put any there. Often it was just drone footage of an actual city with Barry's lightning trail added, but for some reason that (fairly simple) method is never used anymore

"I don't know if you can run that fast..." Has to be one of the best lines to sum up this show.

I'd love to see them in a movie. My preference goes to him over Miller all day not because of the actor but because of the difference between the 2 Flash

Gosh those first seasons really are some of the best moments there, watching Barry have to push himself to move that fast there's no time to think just do and he does it is amazing. I get chills all the time watching that first season of when I finally got to see one of my favorite characters gets some justice!

season 1 episode 15 when he’s running and screaming and he goes back in time like THAT MOMENT WAS INSANEEE FIRST TIME SEEING IT

16:17 it's so nice that everytime a speedster falls from a big height they have a nice car to cushion their landing

I’m also pretty sure that in the DC animated show, Wally West’s Flash stopped himself from falling into the ocean by creating the twin wind things using his arms and allowing some sort of physics to slow down his and then run on the water or back to whatever Batman was flying.

It’s not all relevant. I just thought that was cool and also convenient. And my first thought when he fought Null at the end of the episode was why don’t to try to slow your fall down like that and then run down a building. Kinda like in the end of season one, but he slowed down by slamming into buildings while carrying Stein

Idc what anyone says. Season 8 is still my favorite season of the show purely because of what they did for Barry. His speed was actually consistent the entire season, he was powerful and confident. That's the Barry we should've had since Season 2

You know as a flash fan one thing i always hated the writers doing and made absolutely no sense at all is the fact that barry has the ability to analyze situations as fast as he moves but instead he takes like 5-10 seconds talking to non speedsters through intercoms to help him think of a way to come up with a solution.

The first time travel scene was actually pretty good.

It makes me smile every time Barry quotes Sam Beckett after going back in time for the first time.

I really wanted to see the original 1x15 timeline go through! The way Iris discovered Barry's true identity in that timeline was much better than what we got. Flashpoint was confusing. Seasons 4 and past were so confusing.. I haven't watched Flash since Season 6, now there's season 9! AND 80 EPISODES MORE TOTAL? 80x50 = 4000??? 4000/60 = 66.66667 HOURS!

​@@mihai3852 I fucking doubt every season has the same budget. S1-S5 has infinitely superior cinematography than S6-S9 and the VFX is much more polished and detailed, not to mention the visuals of villains like Thawne, Zoom, Savitar and DeVoe are far superior to villains in more recent seasons.

You have to consider the fact that for the first seasons there was more focus on Arrow and Flash series, after the Arrowverse became like 5-6 different shows running at the same time, they didn't put as much work into each episode, quantity over quality.

Wish they would’ve brought back this CGI from (s1-4)for the other seasons

In 2x18, you skipped the fact that that portal took him to an alternate Earth for probably a few days (Cameo episode in Supergirl). Which means that was also time travel or dilation or something.

The flash runs quickly many heroes can not beat him

Barry giving Cicada a beating and channeling his inner Oliver was the most awesome thing I have ever seen!!

I love those multi-colored lightning worm squiggles ! Special Effects are so much better these days than they were in my time, watching "Buck Rogers in the 21st Century" TV show.

The fight scene aginst the 4 card freaks , idk what to call the, , is what every fight against non speedsters should look like , they can have whatever power they want , they should not even be able to react to a speedster running at them . if their power is compared to a gun for example , they still have to pull the trigger . cant believe it took them 7 season before they stared realising a little bit how busted op super speed is.

The thing I never quite understood is why in 7x2 why finest Barry just use Flashtime and then relocate them. Saving himself so much more time. Also how fast does velocity x make you or was that Barry holding back. I might never know
