She appeared to show him respect for that, given that she, too, took out her knife, even though she knew perfectly well that was completely unnecessary, as he posed literally zero danger to her. She was willing to give him a "warrior's death" on "equal terms" of sorts, rather than just ignominiously kill him. Morality she might not have, but some kind of respect for a fighting spirit definitely.

People who complain about "too much destruction" in this movie don't realize that these are a bunch Kryptonians fighting with one another under a yellow sun. For them, it's like fighting in a world made of cardboards. Any realistic portrayal would show the inevitable destruction.

Now with their superpowers, holy cow, you can see why this is truly a formidable and remarkable species. It’s amazing now how people all of sudden stopped hating on Man of Steel. It was epic !!!

4:07 and 7:30. Now this is a terrifyingly realistic depiction of an invincible opponent in our world. They have no fear and will not hesitate. They have no reason to be otherwise. The only flaw is the bodies not becoming dismembered. Absolutely nothing you can do to stop them from going after you and squishing your soft and mushy body.

Man Of Steel had the best one-on-one fight out of any superhero movie I've ever seen. The closest we have to an actual live action DB/DBZ/DBS movie

This movie is near perfect. The music, tone, casting and cinematography and action are unmatched by the sequels imo.

Clark has been juiced up on yellow sun for ~30 years. He's going to be stronger than them, he just has more restraint.

The fight scene actually gave justice to “grounding” flight well as they gave justice in showing the gravitas for a seemingly low-gravity scene. Every attempts of Superman to fly was constantly hampered by the kryptonian soldiers by making him grounded to have a more devastating impact than just flying and punching. Fight while flying trope is easily undermined as there is no sense of direction and impact with only punches if you are above but they did a fantastic job to really make it feel as if they are hurt in this scene by limiting one’s capability of flying itself.

It’ll be 10 years next year that we still haven’t gotten a proper sequel

This movie... this is te way. WB you have literally GOLD in your hands... We are having a second chance, and we are not gona waste it. #RestoreTheSnyderVerse

yea people were really, really critical of these movies. I thought they were much more interesting than like, Black Panther or Captain Marvel. Honestly, notice how there's no comedies anymore? I think the MCU kind of took the place of comedies, it's why the point of every scene in them is the joke or tension 1-liner. The criticisms they leveled at the Snyder-verse just seemed like nonsense, stuff like, "Superman isn't hopeful enough" is the one I saw the most and it's... just what? What does that even mean?

Best physics of a superhuman battle I've ever seen.

Man, this make me really miss going to the theatres. I remember going into this movie with ZERO expectations of it being great. This was the scene that blew me away. This is how a Superman fight scene should look like in real life. Powerful, explosive, and visceral destruction. It's a shame they canned Snyder's vision for the DCU.

I don't understand why people didn't like this movie. It was fantastic and completely fleshed out. What exactly was the issue? #restorethesnyderuniverse

It was simply a different approach to the comic book movie in a cinema world where every comic book movie was established to be a safe non risky, partial comedy popcorn ride for the whole family to see, say "best marvel movie yet" and get excited for the next safe and samey movie but then forget about what they just saw afterwards. Wash, rinse and repeat. Man of Steel dared to bring up questions like "How would the real world react to a Superman? Would they REALLY welcome him in open arms treating him like a messiah figure in a post 9/11 world? would villains with supermans abilities really 'care to step outside' to fight superman so buildings wouldn't get destroyed?" etc.

I don't know why some people don't like this movie it was amazing and really shows superman strengths and this fight scene was amazing.

WB imagine not #RestoreTheSnyderVerse after the success of Zack Snyder’s Justice League.

Seeing Kryptonians fighting other Kryptonians is absolutely satisfying. We need more of this universe on HBO Max or Netflix. No crazy slow mo, just fun and exciting stories in this universe

I love how when Superman shouts "You think you can threaten my mother?!" the voice distorts the audio levels making him sound really angry.

I absolutely loved the big guy "Nam-ek", how he catches superman mid flight like "YOU'RE NOT GOING ANYWHERE!" and when superman punches him into a whole bunch of trains, Nam-ek throws a cart thats on fire right back at him.

This hands down was a badass movie, I don't understand how people could hate it.

Henry will always be our Superman 💪🏻💪🏻 No matter how many generations pass...

This is the best action sequence ever in a superhero movie. Nothing comes close to it.

Indeed. Except maybe the Captain America trilogy like Winter Soldier. But that's just me. I love both Superman and Captain America. They are the most boring character for everybody else but not me. Lol. Both are goody goody boy scouts and leaders in their teams of their respective comic universes. Both represent the American symbol or the American way and ideals, truth and justice. Both are supposedly the first superhero of their universe, or at least so for Captain America while Superman is the first superhero ever created in the whole comics universe real life and fiction. So yeah. I realize I like Captain America for Marvel and for DC I am all Superman. Haha. In real life I am lot like who or what these two are or embody. For real. It may not sound or seem like it because I am the one saying it but it's what I myself and others who know me have observed of me and told me. And it's so funny how I am into these two comic book characters too. Well not at first. I was more into Iron man for Marvel and Batman for DC. Yeah, also the parallels, both billionaire superheroes of their comic universes. And I am still into them both and also have something in common with them. Heh heh.

Zack Snyder - King of directors 👑

I really like how the first half of this movie is story and the second half is action, it's not the best option, but it shows why Superman is doing what he has to do.

The action in this film is unmatched in the world of comic book films and continues with BvS and ZSJL. Would love to see Faora back too, if possible! #RestoreTheSnyderVerse

Dude seriously? There’s no fight choreography in this movie. Watch crouching Tiger hidden Dragon if u want feel fighting. They’re just punching each other in the air. Not very compelling. It’s lazy and boring
