The FIRST 1,000km in My Ferrari SF90 ALREADY! | WHERE'S SHMEE Part 12
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
A new car needs driving, so my Ferrari SF90 Stradale is immediately on the road for the first 1,000kms! Starting with a visit to the Museo Enzo Ferrari in Modena, we're then on the road to Germany with both sunshine and snow along the way...
Having revealed my first ever new Ferrari at Pista di Fiorano in Maranello, Italy, right outside Enzo Ferrari's house, this is just the start of a huge adventure. With the Ferrari GTC4Lusso having traveled out from @TheShmuseum and carrying all the luggage, it's been quite the dream to have the two cars together in Italy for this journey.
Our first checkpoint of the day is to the Museo Enzo Ferrari in Modena, with the Forever Ferrari exhibit featuring plenty of spectacular models from the 750 Monza and 250 P to the 250 SWB and F40. However, with the 1,000km / 600 mile drive ahead of us there's a long way to go up through the North of Italy, all the way through Austria, and half way across Germany. It starts in 24C sunshine, but ends with snow... not ideal!
Thanks for watching, Tim

This guy is a legend. On the very same week he collects his car he puts over 1000km on it. More than 90% of the owners of cars like this would have it delivered to his place and storage in a garage. There is a reason why his channel don’t stop growing and it’s because people want to see those kind of cars to be properly driven. Congrats on the absolutely stunning spec of your SF90. This shade of blue is incredibly beautiful.

Another question: with the electrical engine kicking out out of the blue, is 1,000 miles enough for the running in of the thermic engine? It is supposed to have worked less than 1,000 miles despite the car reach that milestone?

excellent video Tim. enjoyed this trip even though you couldn't open her up, it's just good hearing your thoughts on the car and also enjoying the scenery {not that the weather let us see much of it}. i would love to be involved with one of the shmeetours, being in a car like this driving on some beautiful roads into various countries must never get boring for you guys. cheers again Tim now i'm really looking forward to seeing some fast runs and even seeing Ring laps. p s, that colour of blue looks stunning on film so it must look so good in the flesh.

Fantastic car. What a joy to take a long drive in dashboard eye candy, even if the weather is uncooperative. I found that when the weather is bad I understand the physics of the car better. Absolutely loved Modena, had an absolutely amazing day there, just a beautiful little town.
The only reason to get an Assetto Fiorano pack is for the cosmetic rear duck tail carbon - which depending on your preference looks better or worse. Other than that, It'd be a standard one for me every time too. It isn't a lightweight track car it is a hybrid road car, especially if you have a Senna, a Ford GT and an STO already... I think spec definitely nailed.

@@Shmee150 And there is kind of the proof that these numbers not only not matter, but the whole run in process guidelines are for people who pre-heat their oven for frozen pizza. Loss of warranty as well as longevity is simply nonsense. Seeing you as a presumably proper "car guy" still going exactly by the book and then suddenly after hitting 1000km everything is fine, is painful. Like if something magically changed. Btw driving gently and keeping the engine permanently at the same low revs within the first 1000km is rather harming then helpful. Who wants to imprint low revs on their supercar engine? Anyway, great car and enjoyed these videos, apart from the run in annoyance :-/

@@theatrenest9982 its not that exactly after 1000km the engine becomes “broken in”, it probably gets broken in within 500km but to be safe they say 1000km. It would be the same if u let ur car sit for a year and then floor it the first minute u turn it on. (I can speak from experience, had my car parked for 6months then floored it within 20minutes of turning it on, guess what, it broke. Another example: try not doing anything for a year and than going on a marathon without doing any prep, ur likely going to have some major cramps after)
