I saw a post on instagram about the soul going straight to Heaven and I quoted 1 verse proving it wrong. The author of the post and several others pointed out my “error” so I replied with every single verse from the Bible and they didn’t reply back. I pray that at least one person learnt some Biblical truth from that post 🙏

No need to explain what isn't true if there isn't anything after death. Did he use names for his other parables? He was making it very clear about his authority upon the theme. Marking it off as just another of his parables is not correct.

The first time your ministry came up on my KZread feed, I had no idea who you were affiliated with, but within about 10 minutes, I knew you guys were SDA. I was so happy to see a younger generation spreading the messgae, especially in way that is so understandable. My three daughters are your age and I have prayed for God to open a door for me to present this to them and the In-Laws; and I would appreciate anyone who happens to remember this post while you are in prayer, I would appreciate, so much, if you could lift my family in prayer.

Ellen White's writings are a treat and desert to us. It expounds on the word of God and makes the Bible so much easier to understand in every details. She is a prophetes of God chosen by God for this last day's msgs before Jesus comes again. It is because you don't read her books that you don't understand her. I used to be like you before but after reading her books I realized I was wrong about her. She upholds the Bible and lift up the word of God in its highest standards. I will be able to meet her in heaven when the day of resurrection comes.

I do agree with quite a bit of that statement there is a lot of things that the seventh-day Adventists are dead on about but it is also true and I have researched this thoroughly that Ellen g White did plagiarize most of what she wrote from other people's writings and that was extremely disappointing to me when I found that out and at first I didn't want to believe it but the more I looked into it the more I found that it was true that said I think the understanding that the Catholic Church is the Antichrist and a great deal of the teachings on eschatology are true I'm not knocking them I'm just saying that Ellen g White was not a prophet for sure not a profit she said a lot of things that were not true she said a lot of things that did not come true she said a lot of things that were questionable at best. Even this SDA church has admitted to some degree that this is true. They got rid of Dez Ford because of what he was teaching which was exposing a lot of this and that was quite a while ago.

Scripture teaches of the spirit of prophecy. It is written: "And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ." Revelation 12:17 kjv. "for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy." Revelation 19:10 kjv. God's church in the last days MUST have the spirit of prophecy, this is what scripture tells us. God's word through Mrs. White is so amazingly wonderful, you are truly missing out on a blessing.

I was also baptized in a SDA church back in 95', i own all the White books, copyright 1910-1925, I found them in an attic of an old house belonging to my wifes family. EW said herself NOT to lift her up as an individual, we humans will ALWAYS screw it up, including EW. She was wrong concerning mandating a vegetarian diet, or maybe it was mandated after her death, either way, we are to sustain from unclean meat according to the Bible, not become veg-heads according to SDA. This is how Lucifer gains a foothold in every church.. The general conference ordains women as pastors now and some of them are unrepentant gay. You know this is true. Stick to the Bible. Use EW as a personal guide, but understand she had her own opinions on life.

I joined the SDA in 2000 after marrying my wife (she was SDA). For me it is good to watch these discussions as it re-affirms what I know, as you tend to forget things over time due to subtle influences, and you need a good reminder on a regular basis. Thank you for doing this, it will be a big help to others trying to find their way in today's world.

I have been through many grave yards to do genealogy work on my ancestors. I have seen written on much older head stones things like, Asleep until the Lord comes.

Quote a verse in responce, it is written ...... - prepare for it. If it is someone claiming to be Jesus, you know it is a lie. Quote a verse in responce, it is written ..... - prepare for it. If it is someone you know coming to bring you some message from God, rebuke with a scripture, i.e. of the old prophet that lied to the prophet that was instructed not to return the same way he came, and not to sit down to eat with anyone, but went with the old prophet, and paid with his life. If it is an important enough message from God to you, trust he will tell you first, and if he sends someone, it is only to confirm something he already has put on your heart. Prepare for all kinds of deceptions. "It is written" worked for Jesus, and I believe it will be our best option too, to not be swept away in deceptions

People have problems reading the Bible. We need to study the context and the Bible from beginning to end.

So, back drop of this question...I was raised Roman Catholic, after starting to seriously study the Bible I eventually came out of Catholicism. In considering other views I attended a Baptist Church for a while because they claimed and it seemed to me that they based their beliefs purely on Scripture and not traditions of man. Once I realized the truth that we should be keeping the Sabbath as followers of Christ I talked to the pastor about it and ended up leaving that church as well. At this point I think a lot of what I believe is in alignment with sda. I haven't really personally studied Ellen White's writings so I can't really speak on that one way or another. From what I understand, sda teaches that we don't need to/aren't supposed to keep the rest of the biblical feast days(Passover/unleavened bread, first fruits, shavaot/Pentecost, trumpets, atonement and Sukkot/Tabernacles). I do believe we should be keeping those and I do... Anyway, about the topic of this video, there is one thing that kind of throws me for a loop and I wish you would've talked about. Luke 16:19-31, Jesus talks about a rich man who's in torment after death and desires to warn his family of the consequences of sin... How is this reconciled with souls simply sleeping and being completely unconscious after death? Thank you for speaking about these heavy truths. I do appreciate your ministry. Prayerfully consider the context of this passage. It’s in a series of parables. May God continue to bless your study and journey with Jesus. Some SDAs personally keep the feasts or acknowledge them in some way, most do not. It’s one of those areas where there is freedom to do as the Lord leads you.

Luke 16 you quoted was a parable. Can a drop of water from a finger dipped in water cool the effect of lake fire? Do the dead sit on Abraham's bosom? The fact that real Lazarus (the brother of Mary and Martha) later was dead and was resurrected by Jesus proved that this miracle still didn't convert the rebellious Pharisees. Nay, they were even more determined to kill the Messiah.

So....I'm watching this right now and haven't finished. But I have heard many times that Eve essentially put words in God's mouth by saying, "neither shall ye touch it." If God had not said that, wouldn't that have been the first sin? That Eve lied? But the Bible records her first sin was in eating the fruit. Why would it be ok to touch it, but not eat it? We cannot be sure God did not say that. Just my thoughts.

This is a major part of the "strong delusion" that Paul warns against in 2 Thess 2:9 This concept feeds the "once saved, always saved" vs "eternal torment" false theology This is the strong delusion sent by God to test those of us to see if we love the truth enough to follow after it or not. This certainly is the greatest deception in Christianity today.

What I find that is a little unnerving that where the Bible says that during end time events, that even the elect could be deceived, that Eve, being the only woman on earth and walked daily with Jesus and was the epitome of perfection, that she was so easily deceived. I think the only thing we have going for us is that we know what sin is like; what it feels like, where Eve never had that experience of the wages of sin.

I’m not sure of what you are saying. At what point does the soul die? In the second resurrection, aren’t the souls being judged at which time God determines the length of time each soul will burn until it is fully punished or destroyed?? I know that the soul doesn’t die when the body dies but maybe I have a different understanding of what the soul is.

Judgement has already began in heaven when Christ enter the most holy place in the heavenly sanctuary a prophecy in the bk of Daniel 7&8. The cleansing of the sanctuary in bk of Leviticus 4 is done once a year (Day of Atonement) also known as the Judgement day. These all points forward to the plan of salvation. Christ is now in the heavenly sanctuary doing the final work that is the judgement. When probation closes there will be no more chance for repentance. Jesus comes to bring the reward the result of that judgement for every soul. The soul is the breath of God is sometimes refer to as the spirit plus the dust equals a leaving soul. When man died God's breath or spirit return to Him who gave it, and body return to dust from where it came. Ecclesiastes 9:5 For the living know that they shall die, but the dead know not anything, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten. God has warned us through His word about the devils deception that we may not be deceived. God help us to yield to these warnings. Blessing..

Genesis 3:19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return. According to the bible, a soul or a living soul is equal to the body which is made out of dust plus the breath of life given by God. When a person dies and stops breathing the body returns to dust because there's no more breath of life in them. I hope it makes sense to you.

The Book of Enoch is not considered canon because it contains too many passages that contradict scripture, (contradicts what Jesus says about the angels, contradicts what the Bible says about the state of the dead, it contradicts God's order, backed by good science, of each kind can only reproduced with it's own kind and contains human/animal hybrids similar to those found in Greek and Roman mythology) besides other contradictions (Isaiah 8:20; 2 Timothy 4:4). The Bible speaks of two men named Enoch in Genesis. One of the righteous line Seth who loved and walked with God and another of the line of Cain, not a righteous man. Also, scholars agree the Book of Enoch could not be written by either Enoch as each lived before the flood and the Book of Enoch was written over a number of centuries (300 - 100 BC)

As Eve’s head, wouldn’t Adam have had the responsibility of teaching her what God said about the “tree”? You said Eve added that she shouldn’t even touch the tree but couldn’t “touch” also mean “to have a brief discussion” such as when we say let me touch on this topic? I know there is physical touching but there is also spiritual touching and maybe both of these occurred with Eve.

Knowing doctrine will not keep you from sinning if you’re not putting the doctrines into practice especially, the face of difficulty. We compromise with evil for a variety of reasons. The main reason is we don’t want to be uncomfortable. We don’t want to stand completely apart from the world and stand for God which makes those spiritual muscles weak. We want to belong and desire validation from those around us.

Speak for yourself; I've stood alone in my faith for most of my life. This was also in error, for, to stand even more in and on the Word of God, I need to stand with Jesus, first and foremost.

If you look up the word “death” in the dictionary, it says that death means “ to cease to exist”. God made us, He has our DNA (our breath is His breath).

I wish that at the 30:28 mark where Mackenzie starts giving the timeline of Jesus telling the disciples that Lazarus was in fact dead and not just sleeping, that Matt would have corrected him since he was wrong in who said what and when. I am kinda syrprised he had this mixed up, having heard him many times before. Read john 11:1-34 for yourselves, important for those who may be listening and not know their bible yet. Martha knew her brother would rise again, not the disciples, they thought he was just sleeping

This question comes up a lot. It comes down to punctuation or lack of-- in today's grammar, it should read, I say to you today, (comma/pause/right now) you will be with me in Paradise (Heaven). Logic tells us that Jesus did not go to heaven that day. So the thief did not either. Jesus was acknowledging that the thief received salvation that day. 💖🙏

This scripture in genesis about the garden is talking about the flesh. In the garden there was a tree of life that Adam could eat of and remain alive for an indefinite period of time. The serpent was telling eve that they will not die if they eat of the fruit from the tree of the knowledge of Good and evil. Yet God said if you eat of that tree of the knowledge of good and evil you will die. This is about the flesh. After Adam and Eve ate of that fruit they were banned from the garden and could no longer eat of the tree and they eventually died. This is a story of how it is our bodies now die and are destined to die and they did die. And Satan lied because he is the father of lies. But Jesus comes and shares a powerful message with Nicodemus. This is why we have Christian churches today and this is why we preach the Gospel. This is why Jesus had to die on the cross and he resurrected. The sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross was not in vain, he did this for all because it is the fathers will none should perish but all should come to the saving knowledge though Christ Jesus. When he is referring to perishing God isn’t referring to the first death, which is the death of our flesh body. He is referring to the second death, the death of the spirit. In In Revelation 21:8 we read: "[A]s for the cowardly, the faithless, the polluted, the murderers, the fornicators, the sorcerers, the idolaters, and all liars, their place will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death." Here is the Gospel message of what being born again and having salvation through Christ Jesus looks like. Nicodemus asked Jesus how can man be born again? Then Jesus goes on to explain. In the book of john 3:1-21 Now there was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews. 2 This man came to Jesus[ by night and said to him, “Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher come from God, for no one can do these signs that you do unless God is with him.” 3 Jesus answered him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.” 4 Nicodemus said to him, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother's womb and be born?” 5 Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’ 8 The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear its sound, but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.” 9 Nicodemus said to him, “How can these things be?” 10 Jesus answered him, “Are you the teacher of Israel and yet you do not understand these things? 11 Truly, truly, I say to you, we speak of what we know, and bear witness to what we have seen, but you do not receive our testimony. 12 If I have told you earthly things and you do not believe, how can you believe if I tell you heavenly things? 13 No one has ascended into heaven except he who descended from heaven, the Son of Man. 14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of Man be lifted up, 15 that whoever believes in him may have eternal life.[h] For God So Loved the World 16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God. 19 And this is the judgment: the light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the light because their works were evil. 20 For everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his works should be exposed. 21 But whoever does what is true comes to the light, so that it may be clearly seen that his works have been carried out in God.”

Phil 1:23 Paul is not talking about when he dies he will go straight to heaven and be with Christ. It contradict his teaching of the resurrection. If you read verse 21 he say "For me to live is Christ and to die is gain. Paul speaks with confidence of his faith in Christ if he dies he will be with Him when He comes on that resurrection day. 2Timothy 4:7-8 I have fought a good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith, henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord the righteous judge, shall give me at that day, and not to me only, but unto all them also that love His appearing. Paul here is referring to the resurrection day when Christ comes to bring the reward for every soul.

It’s ironic that you guys are presenting the Biblical state of the dead, and yet say that Jesus raised Himself from the dead? How could Jesus have raised Himself from the dead if you believe that He was dead?

In Luke 23:43 And Jesus said to him, Verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou be with me in paradise. This sounds like Jesus is telling the thief that today he will be in heaven. Why didn't he say today you will sleep till the resurrection?

When the Bible was written there was no punctuation. The verse should actually look like this: Luk 23:43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee To day, shalt thou be with me in paradise. The comma should have been put in after today because soon after Jesus is resurrected He says this to Mary. Jhn 20:17 Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God. So if Jesus had not yet ascended into heaven yet then the thief couldn’t have been with him in heaven that day. I hope this helps to understand this verse. God bless

What Jesus was saying to the thief, was even if I looked so terrible like this, rejected, insulted, nothing like a King or Lord, but I say to you today (now) that I will take you to paradise (heaven) when I will come back as a glorious King of Kings and Lord of Lords (at the second coming when I will resurrect you).

Hebrews 4 shows us that the sabbath is not about a day of the week. The Old Testament sabbath was a foreshadow of a spiritual truth.

Phillipians 1:23-24 Paul speaks about either REMAINING in the body or DEPARTING and going to be with christ , and also says to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Lazarus was in the bosom of Abraham . The rich man went below ⬇️ . We go on to be with God at the Death of the body , others do not . We know of nothing happening here on the earth after we leave the body. The body rests in the dirt until resurrection unto life or resurrection unto judgment and the second death . They (the unbeliever) don’t get sent BACK to hell but are thrown into the lake of fire . Which is the second death. The Catholics mix truth with lies . It’s part of the deception .

Paul himself told us when he will be with the Lord aka to be with Christ: when Christ returns ‭I Thessalonians 4:17 NKJV‬ [17] Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.

[16] But now they desire a better, that is, a heavenly country. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for He has prepared a city for them.... [39] And all these, having obtained a good testimony through faith, did not receive the promise, [40] God having provided something better for us, that they should not be made perfect APART from us.

God never gave Eve the word. He gave it to Adam. She changed the word due to lack of understanding, hence why the serpent was able to cause confusion. There's no comma in Greek. What if He was saying "Amen, I say to you today, you will be with me in Paradise."? It doesn't make sense for him to tell the thief he would be with Him in Paradise that day. Jesus went into the grave for 3 days and when He rose He told Mary "Do not cling to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father."

Medically speaking you are not dead until you are brain dead, and even then, the brain can go a certain length without oxygen before irreversible damage is done and brain death occurs. It is very common when low or starved from oxygen for people to hallucinate and Satan can easily plant suggestions in someone in this state. We are warned in the Bible that especially as we get closer to Christ's return Satan's deceptions will be so convincing that, if possible, the very elect of God would be deceived so they are going to be so convincing that our only protection is knowing and trusting what God's word says, even if our senses, or the experience of everyone else says otherwise. It will be quite the test indeed as among those deceptions will be miracles (done by Satan), including people being healed, and Satan himself impersonating Christ! Those who reject these clever deceptions will be so hated because they will be accused of being the one's who are deceived and being guilty of the same sins as the Pharisees when they attributed Christ's miracles to Satan.

It takes a while for brain activity to completely shut down for one. Also, clinically dead and true death are not the same thing. Also remember that a fallen angel would be able to give you visions and dreams in the same way any other angel or the Lord did in the Bible. They are still angels after all.

The issue is in how/what the peopoe understand what soul & spirit are in the bible . Most dont think the person goes to heaven but their spirit/soul does. We can talk all day about sleep, resurrection,...etc. but if people still think a person is alive in spirit/soul they will not accept what yoj/me are saying. A lot understand the body is in the grave & resitfected but think the soul is still living . Dualism (what they are taught & believe) needs to be understood in its pagan understanding and that its not bible.

This is an excellent video but I do take exception to the use of the term 'soul-sleep'. The terminology 'soul-sleep' has crept into SDA lingo relatively recently and I have to say it is very disturbing. I have been in the SDA church all my life. Yes, we often use the term 'sleep' when referring to death; however, this latest term 'soul sleep' to me gives the connotation that the soul, i.e. breath of life somehow stays with the dead body rather than returning to God. This is entirely false. Using the term 'soul-sleep' is totally misleading and should have never been introduced into the SDA church. Below is an excerpt from a paper written by Wilson Paroschi, PHD, Professor of New Testament Interpretation at Southern Adventist University titled 'Death as Sleep, the (Mis) Use of a Biblical Metaphor'. The biblical description of death is that of termination or annihilation (Job 7:21; 14:12). When the person dies,nothing remains, as the breath of life returns to God and the body decomposes to the basic elements from which it was formed (Ps. 146:4; Eccl. 12:7). As (Carlyle B.) Haynes explained,“the union of two things, earth and breath, served to create a third thing, soul. The continued existence of the soul depended wholly upon the continued union of breath and body. When that union is broken and the breath separates from the body, as it does at death, the soul ceases to exist.” Samuele Bacchiocchi put it this way:Death is presented in Scripture “as a return to the elements from which man originally was made. . . .[Death is] the termination of one’s life, which results in the decay and decomposition of the body. . . . [It means]the deprivation or cessation of life.” Even though this cannot be fully equated with sleep, this metaphor has gained a considerable importance in the Adventist understanding of death. But, even more worrisome are those statements that may sound like an endorsement of the soul‑sleep concept, as if death were in fact an intermediate state in which the person lies inactive in the grave until the resurrection morning. By misusing the sleep metaphor, we risk the failure of doing justice to the seriousness of death and of detracting from the true meaning of the resurrection.

Thank you for the program i am loving it. However, i just what to caution, the statement :imagine "your loved one" watching you from heaven and seeing you struggling /challenged with life. That is the every tactic the evil one uses, to make people lower their defenses. It's really interesting.A lot of people will use the line that Yeshua Said to the thief on the one side that said forgive me.... They say well he told them that today he'll be with me in paradise.... I have two points to that.... Number one, they didn't have any punctuation, so he could have said.It is right?What you have said today.. .. You will be with me in paradise..... We just don't know whether today was even part of that second part.... And second of all and more importantly even jesus himself wasn't in heaven that day. Remember when the women went to the tomb on the third day in the morning and Yeshua Said to them.Don't touch me.I have not yet been with the father..... He himself wasn't even with the father directly after he died...... Another thing and not of that story, but another thing on this point that he says, when he comes to get his church he comes with his reward is not his reward.Immortality, Paul himself said we need to put off the mortal and put on immortality.So all of these comments tell me that the soul itself is mortal.... Why would Yeshua Come with his reward of immortality eternal life in hand if we already had it why would he even need to bring it.....???

Daniel 7:25 says the time times and a half a Time does (not start) until (after the Saints are given into his hand ) ...you're saying that.. a time times and a half a Time ends in 1798.. it doesn't.. but that's what you say.. so Revelation chapter 13 says the deadly wound is healed( before) that time starts.) so the deadly wound is healed before 1798( before it ever happens )how are you going to do this? You need another 1,260 years which is really just 42 months where are you going to get it from?

It appears like the uploader is blocking the comments. There's four years in 28 days between the ending of the 69th week in crucifixion day April the 25th in the year 31 that's not in the middle of any 7 years. They say they use a 360 day year for Daniel 7 but when it comes to Daniel 8 . ..they do not use it.. they always say they always do the same with time prophecy! The agreement was you could speak on a comment section but they're not letting it happen somebody is breaking the 9th commandment. They also think that they are Revelation 12 but they can't interpret it. They don't know they're not the remnant of it Isaiah 11:11.. they don't know the first 1260. Days revelation 12: 6. are actual days of the time of Titus and the time times and a half a Time. Are the numbers written in Daniel 7 .and Daniel 12.( to the children of Daniel ). The 42 months of the Great tribulation.. at the end of time. they think they are them!

Adventist always talk about comparing scripture with scripture; yet they themselves do not. Most of their doctrinal stands fall apart when properly exegeted Also many religious body which always expressed that they are of the truth are for the most part far from it

Nothing wrong with preaching in different tongues as long as a translator is present. All the ones that I have heard is useless babblings that nobody understands, which the Bible speaks against. Gift of tongues is the gift of languages.

Like Jim said. If you look at what was happening in the Bible when the apostles spoke in tongues, you'll see they weren't babbling. People could understand them. That's what Paul meant and he was actually putting prophecy above tongues! So first we should think about whether a church has a spirit of prophecy.

As far as I know we don't have a specific number. We see the 144,000 in Revelation but we don't know whether or not that is a literal number. Most that I have seen say it's symbolic.

The dead in Christ would not need to rise 1st if they were already there. They are sleeping. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord is also true because when we sleep we have no concept of time. Our spirit is breath...our spirit comes from God and returns to God. Our soul is what makes us who we are. Our soul can be cast into Hell. We will rise and we need to fear Him who can throw both body and soul ALIVE into Hell. At the last Trumpet, if we are in Christ, we will rise. Galatians 4:26 literally says the New Jerusalem coming down from Heaven is our mother. I love y'all's presentations. God is spirit that cannot die. When God breathe into man the breath of life it was not simply the air we breathe, it was his life giving spirit and man became alive with God’s spirit that cannot die. The verse the dead knows nothing at all is referring to the body not the spirit from God that cannot die. We are spirit in a body of flesh and blood. When Jesus said Lazarus sleepeth but I go to awake him he was referring to Lazarus spirit which is also the soul of man. At the first resurrection it is the spirit that quickens (awakens) the flesh profits nothing. John 6:63.

2 Corinthians 5: 8. To be absent from tge body is to be present with the Lord. It's the body that dies. Spirit cannot die. C'mmon! Even Christ's body died ... but while dead Christ's Spirit went to Sheol. Dust to dust. The body returns to the earth from whence it came. But the Spirit returns to God where it belongs. We'll be given another body. Resurrection is a bodily resurrection. The spirit canjot die. 😮

Someone else answered this also. The comma is not in the original, it was Placed by the translators. It should be after the word "today". When resurrected he to Mary he hadn't been to heaven yet....pastor doug Batchelor had a beautiful Easter sermon that also mentioned it.

What Jesus was saying to the thief, was even if I looked so terrible like this, rejected, insulted, nothing like a King or Lord, but I say to you today (now) that I will take you to paradise (heaven) when I will come back as a glorious King of Kings and Lord of Lords (at the second coming when I will resurrect you) to take back my Kingdom which had been stolen by Satan.

No, Jesus didn't raise himself. Sons don't raise themselves. Sons are raised by their Father. The scriptures and Jesus are very clear about that. Jesus said he could do nothing on his own of his own authority. The Bible is very clear that God The Father raised his son Jesus to life. John 5:21 For just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, so also the Son gives life to whom He wishes. Acts 2:24 But God raised Him from the dead, releasing Him from the agony of death, because it was impossible for Him to be held in its clutches. Acts 2:32 God has raised this Jesus to life, to which we are all witnesses. Romans 8:11 And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you. Romans 10:9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that GOD RAISED HIM FROM THE DEAD, you will be saved.

The immortality of the soul (or however you want to describe it) is taught in the scriptures. You guys are all wet. Matthew 25:46 - And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal. Death is NEVER defined as "cessation of existence" in the scriptures. God is now and has always been the God of the living. Life and death speak to a quality. If you don't read it that way, you come up with too many contradictions.

The Father raised Jesus. See Romans 6:4, Acts 2:24, 2:32. Jesus had the power to do so (John 10:17). But He chose to have Faith that the Father would do it. He trusted in His Father to raise Him. This all goes back to the Faith of Jesus! We must have this same faith. Everything else is spot on. 🙏

Nobody was taken to heaven (the presence of God) from the OT. Hebrews tells us they ALL died without experiencing the promises. Jesus said noone has gone into heaven except him who came from heaven. You all need to understand the scriptures instead of believing the nonsense of Aunty Ellen.
