The fight for social justice | Job Amupanda | TEDxWindhoek
Job orate that he need only think of a day in the future when his daughter asks:
“Where were you and what did you do when Namibia began to degenerate? What did you, Daddy, do when things began to get worse?”
Job Shipululo Amupanda is a Namibian radical activist who has served as an activist
since high school, both in Namibia and South Africa. A Political Scientist by training, he holds Honours & Master degrees in Political Science
and is the author of the book “Truth is Truth: Selected Works of an Activist”, published
in 2014.
After completing his master’s degree in 2011 at the University of Stellenbosch, he
rejected lucrative job offers in South Africa and Namibia, he established the ‘Omaalala Youth Development Club.’ In 2012, he was
elected with the highest votes to the central committee of the ruling party youth wing,
the SPYL, later becoming its spokesperson.
He was suspended by the top four ruling party
leaders in 2014 for championing the struggle for the landless youth under the banner of
“Affirmative Repositioning.” He has been a Quality Assurance Coordinator at the Centre
for Quality Assurance and Management at the University of Namibia where he also lectures political science.

social injustice is not what this country needs
Job visionary paradigm view of fighting for Social Justice is emulated and its futuristic benefits in addressing political injustice in Namibia
Job Amupada, u a my role model.
Come on ''JOB'' help us affirmatively re-position it!!!
Namibian Youth? I am one but I am happy to have learnt that... 1. Politicians will call you a criminal for fighting what is rightfully yours, 2. They make you believe that you have no power, that is their strength 3. We really don't care about the laws wat wat that is meant to rob us, 4. We will only support laws that are in everyones favor and not a single person, 5. If we don't stand up fellow youth we won't even be able to watch knowledgeable videos like this, But; I am disappointed because Gazza's Chelete Hit A milllion Views but such videos not even 100k views, we are more into vlogs, reality shows and soccer...when you don't have a shelter? Red eyes...now roof to watch those things... Please, Lets Pull up our Socks and Invest in our future!! Thank you Job for Paving the way...
Awesome,
Who is watching this in 2021
I like this you are truely activism, keep it up!
I watched it. I still have no idea what he was talking about. Was there a coherent theme or a point he wants to make? Well done, Mr. "Radical Activist" The only thing made very clear is his misogyny and that South Africa isn't even his country, but it gave him a University Degree anyway. Now South Africa owes him big time!

Are there any specific criteria to do TEDx Talks? Can I rent out my local community center and babble incoherently for a while and then upload it to youtube?

Yes, there is a specific criterion. You have to be a SJW without any connection to the real world. Other than that, everybody can do it!
in 2015, 15% of land distribution is completed...Today is december 2020..how much
That was good keep it up
It’s funny how we let money cloud our eyes at times, there’s no amount of paper that can replace a true Leader of the people, each and every Namibian ,alive or dead deserves land. We don’t want to go to Europe,America or Asia ,we want to stay in our countries and enjoy the breeze mama Africa gifts us each and every morning. We are a great nation because of leaders like Job and those that are ready to be sacrificed likes sheep’s going for a slaughter to bring to live a better Namibia for the beautiful little gifts our land gave birth to,the least we can do is give them land and not empty promises!!
Clear and Sound !!!

Good friends AR
We should just be fighting for Justice. Let's recap so far - there is no slavery, we have an open market, freedom of education (and free public education), wage equality (yes, men and women do make the same wages), etc, etc. People's choices are what hold them back, not the system.

The only economic transaction we are forced to abide by is taxation (or penalty of prison time). Other than that you are not forced to buy anything. I'm in the US, so I'm talking about myself, I don't know what you're situation is.
educative man, be blessed forever my brother
Job Amupanda for president!!!

Job the names you mentioned (Muks, Tuksa, Luks) are street names that we give to each other especially if you grew up in the Windhoek. It's a social thing rather then a lack of knowledge of self.

WORKSHOP IS GOOD
Social Justice is simply takeover of private property on large scale and back to slavery system. What's the difference is between Justice and Social Justice ? The same like betwen a chair and electric chair.
Malted barley hops and water. Bottle neck on my mouth 24/7. My activisim and trust me, I am not doing this alone, there is a CEO sitting next to me.
Imagine the hecters for their farms are too much , while poor people their mahangu field 're cut off some pieces, these people are so selfish no one want poor people to be rich like them, but God knows what they 're doing
Those are truth
"Social Justice" is a euphemism for "give me free shit because I exist".

Of course, we can have our own truth. It's the facts that remain unchanged and the same. Lies and rumor may be fast runner, but truth prevails.
Yeah, social justice is shaking your head, knowing something is not fair. Then working on aligning it.
Will always support black consciousness...

Social justice is idiocy
Talk about creating jobs man, what is the point of grabbing land while you don't have a job, you need to talk sense. what Namibia need is infrastructure and manufacturing that is what you need to bloody encourage.
