This is a fun way to add creative expression to your painted furniture in a super cost-effective way. It’s also the PERFECT way to cover up any imperfections as you’ll see by my oopsie in this video.

Looks great. I have that stencil and love it.
Very nice! Your thoughts on the use of adhesive spray vs tape and your fingers to hold the stencil down? Also, is rubbing alcohol to remove the paint bad for a stencil?

Thank you! I prefer painters tape over spray adhesive. That said, I don't mind getting my hands all covered in paint while I hold the stencil down. 😄 If you wanted a 'cleaner' way of stenciling, the spray adhesive helps hold the stencil flat to the surface. As for rubbing alcohol - for sure! If you rinse it off, it won't hurt your stencils.

Love the project! Would the Scrubby soap bar work on the stencils?

It does! I like to soak and scrape my stencil to get the majority of the paint off and then use the scrubby soap to remove anything that I've missed.
