Thanks for the new video! Good info on the Aladdins, and frankly, the truth. Haha...I've had one runaway flame-out with an Aladdin, and you don't ever want to repeat THAT situation. I'm with you. Aladdins are pretty persnickety and potentially volatile unless you are going to be right there babysitting them all evening. Regular old center drafts and double-wicks are so much simpler and less demanding. Granted, you can't really beat Aladdins for a nice light. I have my Grandma's Model B lamp, and it is beautiful, sits in the middle of my dining room table, but I have since replaced the Model B burner with a Model 23, STILL wasn't happy (flame spikes) and now have it running one of the new Maxbright burners - which FINALLY burns like it's supposed to. But - have the power go out, and need expedient light? Unless I want to read or we want to play cards/games or eat at the table - around the house for room lights? I will first light up my Rayos or the double-wicks or the Millers.

I wish it wasn’t that way but unfortunately they are just not up to snuff for regular use.

We should be getting a few out here and there again. We have a couple big ones cooking but I think e will try and get a shorter video out every couple of weeks.

I've used Aladdin lamps for years and I've always thought that their Model B was the very best design made. The more modern models were just cheaper in my opinion.

Yea unfortunately they seem to have slumped in quality.
