Such a great review of a book! I know you spent a lot of time putting this video together. Great job my friend! I was tempted to watch your review first . Yet, I travailed and read the book before hand. I'm going to enjoy this series and can't wait for the future reviews you make👍

I just can’t get into fantasy. All the different words you used in the beginning of the video to describe the animals and people made my head hurt.

I got the first book on kindle and liked what I read so far, I just can’t see myself reading a 12, 13? how ever many long book series.. I like to read different stuff, I feel like you would have to really grind and only read that one series for like a year to get through them.

Don't stop after the first one. Give it some time to expand the story. Read at least the first three, if you are not hooked after that you can quit. We who followed the books as they were released had to wait like three years between them, so taking a pause would do no harm.

This has been bugging me. Why in Hearts in Atlantis Bobby wins $0.90 and not .60? He starts out with $0.15. Mcquown says"find the girl and double your money" p.89 Bobby wins so therefore he would have $0.30. For some reason Mcquown puts $0.30 down with Bobby's already 15. So now somehow Bobby has $0.45, And should only have 30. Right? Mcquown asks Bobby if he would like to let it ride. Bobby didn't understand what that meant and Mcquown says "like to go again?" Bobby wins again and now gets .90. I'm lost. How? Does let it ride mean triple Bobby's $0.30, or double Bobby's $0.45 which he shouldn't have had anyways?

Great review. I really enjoyed Book 1. Tried to plow through this series but got hung up on Book 4. Found the multiple encounters and temporary defeats of the ultimate bad guy robbed the series of any real jeopardy for the main characters. If it had been over after three books it probably would have been great, but with 9-10 more to go, it just seems like it’s going to spin “the wheel” for a long time before anything even tries to resolve itself.

*SPOILERS FOR UP TO BOOK FOUR BELOW* - - - - - So you missed the plot point that the bad guy was just a forsaken and not the actual dark one. When Rand killed him in the stone of Tear he left a body and Moiraine speculated that it could have been Ishamael all along. The first three books are quest based, the following books in the series are more grand strategy and political, they expand the world a lot and we get many POVs and branching plot lines.

The end o EotW is only clear books ahead, when you understand the world and Magic elements. It's considered not a great ending as well by the fandom. The next ending will be muuuch clear and better

I’m probably going against everyone here but I think the series is very overhyped I find very confusing with the number of characters a lot of them somewhat pointless and story is very slow I do like Matt and Ewenge are my favourites though and I do want to see how it finishes

You’re not the only one. If you read a lot of fantasy, this series is mediocre. I think most of peoples love for it us because it was a first series in the genre.

The unnecessary over description of every last bit of insignificant minutiae drains most of the joy out the saga as a whole. What wound up being 15 books would have been better served in just six, all written by Jordan. Even if the glacial pacing doesn't put readers off, the bloom is off the rose by book five.

The TV-show is trash and an insult to the author and book fans. Do not watch. An example: Episode 6 is a useless filler episode with only ONE scene being even halfway book accurate, the rest is just the show writers thinking they can make a better story than the author.
