All a person has to do is read the Quran to know that Islam is not a religion of peace. It's filled with violence. All a person has to do is read surah 18 verse 86 to know that the Koran is not from God. Until, when he reached the setting of the sun, he found it setting in a murky spring, and found a people in its vicinity. How could anybody believe in a God and his messenger that don't know that the sun does not set in a pool of murky water with people nearby?!

They will praise you when you study or convert, but if you leave the religion, then they accuse you of being misguided (especially if you point out the reasons why you left), or of having never been a "real" muslim in the first place. I also converted after getting basic information on Islam. The five pillars, etc. After learning more, I realised that I didn't believe in the entire religion (because yes, there are strange or disturbing hadith and quran verses; yes, the religion is Arab-centred, it isn't meant for the whole world as we know it today). Many people stuck in their religious point of view cannot accept that apostates have valid reasons for leaving religion. They can critique religions very well, just not their own.

The Quran itself confuse. In Quran 6 : 14 Muhammad claim to be the first Muslim. Jesus was born long before Muhammad. But because of this verse, it will show that Jesus was never a muslim, then verses were added. Quran 3:67 / 22:78 says Abraham was the first Muslim. But this verses needed to be strong. so again another verse was added - Now it says Moses was the first Muslim (Quran 17:143 / 26:51) So because finally those verses put people who born before Christ, they think they can easily claim that Jesus and His diciples were Muslim. But, in Quran 39:12 says Muhammad started Islam. He was the first Muslim. And you should believe him because if you do not believe him, you do not believe Allah. So, tell me again. How did Abraham, Moses and Jesus and His diciples were Muslim? I have bunch of question for you to answer.

Because in the quran it says that if you leave islam you must be killed. They told her that she is gonna burn in hell and that she is walking the path of satan. Islam is not the religion of peace. It is written in Quran that after going through Quran there may be two possibility that 1.A person will be having intimacy with islam and will become so pious or devoted, or 2.A person will astray or get away from islam Why this gonna happen? Ans- First person understand the right interpretation of the Quran but the second didn't. This is the only reason. Example: At two different places in Quran, at first place it is written that offer NAMAZ(five times daily prayes) but at the other place it is written that don't offer NAMAZ. If a person don't read the further text or don't try to understand then he/she will astray definitely. So in second verse it is written that don't offer prayer or NAMZ if you are unconscious(intoxicated). So,Try to learn this beautiful religion with its beautiful interpretation. MAY ALLAH GUIDE YOU

No one had any clue Muhammad was going to come and when he came all he did was deliver the quran which contains a plethora of mistakes and contradictions. Jesus rose from the dead to prove himself.

Every religion has unbelievable and fantastical things which makes no sense in today's world of science and evidence. But what's dangerous is the exclusion and hatred towards people of a different faith. This exists to varying degrees in all religions.

It is written in Quran that after going through Quran there may be two possibility that 1.A person will be having intimacy with islam and will become so pious or devoted, or 2.A person will astray or get away from islam Why this gonna happen? Ans- First person understand the right interpretation of the Quran but the second didn't. This is the only reason. Example: At two different places in Quran, at first place it is written that offer NAMAZ(five times daily prayes) but at the other place it is written that don't offer NAMAZ. If a person don't read the further text or don't try to understand then he/she will astray definitely. So in second verse it is written that don't offer prayer or NAMZ if you are unconscious(intoxicated). So,Try to learn this beautiful religion with its beautiful interpretation. MAY ALLAH GUIDE YOU

Yehia El Yamani 5 times daily prayer to a black meteorite stone fallen from a sky. Doing a round circle 7 times around the said rock. Kiss the rock to abolish all the sin. This is paganistic ritual to its core. Muhammad copied and paste what the Arabic pagan ritual to his own religion. This is pagan to its core as the God himself is Omnipresent and thus dont need representation on earth as his own representation because He is OMNIPRESENT! Thus the daily act of 5 times a day to a black meteorite stone is not an act to worship a God, but an insane convuluted way of worshipping a deity.

Nick John you may be right there. However, I wanted to refer to the exposure to social pressures through performing those prayers. It serves to make sure your belief is intact 24 hours a day by joining fellow Muslims in prayers 5 times a day (hence one can't be alone!). Second, those who don't perform the rituals, or even do so reluctantly are deemed hypocrites. Those refusing prayers are threatened with execution, and hypocrites are promised the worst place in hell, even worse than outright non-believers, as they are regarded as traitors. May be it is a form of paranoid attitude?!

Suicidal, paranoid, hearing voices (few hadith claimed only he saw the Angel or hear Angel speaking to him) and dopamine regulation issue (hypersexual, pedophilia, polygamy). >Second, those who don't perform the rituals, or even do so reluctantly are deemed hypocrites Actually it is lot worse than that. Some conservatives scholar put a few fatwa claiming that people abandon 5 times daily prayer are not Muslim. The same as not paying Zakat. This is tremendous self regulating behavior exerted by powerful figure to keep its population pacified. A great quote I always remember, "A religion is the opium of the massess". Thus, a population distracted by religion, will too busy to improve in other area of life such as great governance in government, corruption, economic problems and many more.

I completely felt the whole "sense of community" thing. I have been researching about religions for a while and honestly, Islam has felt very warm and welcoming since many muslims have offered to pray for me and I think it is beautiful that in any place you go, you will be welcome (because of the Ummah being a family). However, I began questioning everything when I learned about only being able yo be saved if you take Shahada: is your God really that weak, that selfish? My idea of God only cares about love, not about saying some words. I dont believe my dead family members will automatically go go Hell because they didnt take Shahada. My God Is greater than that and I can not be part ir a religion which believes everyone who doesnt act like them will be condemned.

As a proud Muslim, I have to say that it is not my place or anyone’s place to say that a non-Muslim will go to hell. What gave you right to take God’s rightful job? Everyone will be judged based on their deeds and actions. If you search any religion you will always find extremists and it’s unfortunate that at this moment Islam is portrayed extremely negatively. However, what I can say is that depending on who you talk to, you will find that different people carry different opinions which is why it’s always important to try to take an unbiased approach whenever you conduct your research. Roxolana Thor That’s very true. I can understand exactly why someone could say that hell doesn’t exist. But to be quite frank with you, I personally think that by saying that hell doesn’t exist you are in turn saying that God doesn’t exist. For God is all just and fair and it wouldn’t make any sense for a human who spreads corruption on this Earth to not receive recompense for their actions. Tye proof of Gods existence is all around us and by simply opening your eyes and glimpsing the complexities and beauty of nature it seems to me that is quite an easy conclusion to say that there must be some higher being out there who maintains the harmonious orders of our universe.

Can you make salat and it be accepted? You know you must pray in Arabic. You can indeed supplicate (dua) in other languages. Then that’s even worse than allah not understanding other languages. He understands them but only tolerates Arabic for prayers. Isn’t that.... very supremacist?

WHERE IS ALLAHS BIBLE? Where is the bible of allah other than in the fantasy of muslims? What ancient scriptures verify the bible we read today? Old testament : - Dead sea scrolls aprox 200 bc - Septuagint (lxx) - Targum - Syriac peshitta .. To name a few New testament : - 5800 greek manuscripts (which arent just fragments but contain if i recall on average about 400 pages of writings each, which is also true for:) - Aprox 15000 more manuscripts in other languages - writings of the church fathers dating back to a few decades after the crucifixion of Christ - Non Christian and non biblical sources, from Josephus to Tacitus to greek and other pagan writers testifying to the crucifixion of Jesus, and even things like the day becoming dark as night the year it happened as the new testament said. Also every major event in the new testament is written before it happened which the new testament are little more than eyewitness accounts of. Example: The crucifixion of the Messiah (Isaiah 53, Daniel 9 (70 sevens gives you the year 30 AD), Psalm 22, Zechariah 12:10 etc) Im not sure the muslims in here have iq or enough interest in the truth to Google it, but you can find everything on internet, even translated to English. So now we are all waiting to see all the muslim manuscripts of allahs bible. Show us, muslims.

I don't think she was complaining that life wasn't perfect after converting, her issues were with the Islamic texts themselves and the questionable ideas and contradictions they had. A text that comes from a perfect God should be perfect and I'm sure any faithful Muslim believes that the Qor'an is perfect. If a faith's holy book has issues, then how can you say the religion is from God?

A friend I know told me that her mom converted from Christianity to Islam because she married a Muslim man. Even though she converted to Islam apparently his family kind of still looked down on her. And from what I know her mother was very devoted and committed to learning about it.

Sunnah n Hadith are highly scrutinized versions of prophet Muhammad Sws etiquettes and sayings... With categories from good chain to weak chain... Seerah is his life biography... Not much scrutinized.... But 70% of seerah come from qurann, Sunna and haidth... (Not sure abt %)... Islamic laws are based on Quran, Sunna and Hadith and not on seerah...

3:06. Because of all the other issues this one isn't pointed out enough by critics of religion and Islam.
