By thorough research I mean you have: 1) Found something in the Quran that appears "poisonous" to you. 2) Checked the proper context of the verse(s) you find "poisonous". 3) Checked that you haven't succumbed to any of the typical logical fallacies (especially presentism). 4) Checked what the traditional Islamic scholars have explained about the verse(s) you find to be "poisonous". 5) And after all that, you found the explanations by the Islamic scholars to be inadequate. Now with all of that in mind, please can you post what you found "poisonous" in the Quran? Also please post the explanations of the traditional Islamic scholars that you found to be inadequate. I look forward to your findings.

Good to see non-Muslims having intelligent conversations with a Muslim. We need more such conversations.

I love love how the pastor would be soooo humble, correcting the woman when she says something that is indeed factually wrong. Like how he points out that jesus was not a "hugger". Just. Most of non muslims and especially those who didn't meet muslims ever and never lived in a muslim society are always come with false conceptions about Islam like you and suprisingly they come up with a belief of truth about that while whole matter was wrong , I am so sad for you honestly... @b king I agree, almost all or most there are just to fight for their own side even for Islam, i am a muslim and i watch many videos talking about Islam and explaining them to others, that speakers corner although people will learn about Islam but the way is like it must be by shouting and screaming all aloud, and Allah told us in Quran to be humble and smooth in talking with others and not speak a loud, speakers corner way is just to defeat non muslims, sure there are many people convert to Islam, but Ahmed Sabeel i just only watched him this month and he is WAY better, in fact if i am non muslim for example i will never convert Islam from Speakers corner even if i admit i was wrong and guilty in my faith, but Ahmed Sabeel way or method doesn't leave any excuse to not convert or listen and understand, and after all, GOD bless all muslims regardless of their ways of preaching teaching and explanations.

Pastor Phil is a cool guy. I wish there were more honest down to earth conversations like these. So much misunderstanding can be explained just by having a frank talk. At the least we can agree to disagree without animosity. Salam to all our brothers and sisters from all faiths.

@@Dgghjut nope, if they read Qur'an , there would not be any pastor or pastor left in the earth , becasue they could easily find the mistakes or misleading information in bible. pastor , preachers or fathers , no one ever memorized the bible cover to cover , letter to letter , they read from the book just.

Who defines modesty? Then why do we have sexual intercourse when naked? Isn't that immodest? Why are we born naked? And men still have lust even if a woman wears a hijab...how is the purpose served then? And even if a woman doesnt wear a hijab, I don't look at a girl with lustful eyes lol

@david mitchell as dr sabeel said in the previous video, men are told to dress modestly and lower their gaze as well. Modesty is for both men and women, so that immoral acts do not spread in society and various other reasons. Allah knows best

Christian preach Love , Islam preach Peace. Together they took Peace and Love out of this world.. They made the world as a lunatic asylum. Both have contributed to make the world a "Hell" So that they can sell the "Heaven".

I loved this women for being so transparent ,straightforward well mannered and elegant

Isn’t it nice to see people from two different religions speaking to one another with respect and as human beings rather than arguing or screaming at one another saying if you don’t do this or don’t do that you will go to hell, we need more of this open dialogue l love this.

This is how we must live and talk amongst each other pure love n respect

Br Sabeel you are a good role model to Muslim men, showing how they can interact with people of the opposite gender with kindness, dignity and respect

@@123Ambarish- He is not trying to convert them but he just tries to clear up misconceptions that are going around about Islam so people would live one another in peace and love instead of hate. in islam no one has the right to force another into Islam. faith comes from within with freewill and intention.

@@rtimitarelgha611 yes it's good to remove misconceptions(even though some things still don't make much sense), but then he should do it with his own people too at first...if someone wants to convert, should tell that person that your faith and religion doesn't matter, just be a good human being...you need not convert to Islam for that

Brother sabeel we all are proud of you doing this dawa job. I would like to add 1. that hugging or touching is function of mahram and non mahram and also function of age as well. 2. in Islam in general what is permissible for all is permissible and what is not permissible is not permissible for all of a particular category. Therefore there is nothing like covering of head like nun. And due to this reason only there is nothing like holy hug and non holy hug. Who knows the intention of person? Chances of misuse is more.

@Peter Keller you said it yourself. This happens in the middle eastern countries. It is different in other muslim countries such as Malaysia, Brunei and Indonesia. Muslim women living in these countries do not get prosecuted for not wearing hijabs and the reason they do wear is to fulfil the comandment from God.
