Coffee liqueur in a cocktail tends to be a real diva (wants all the attention) but that said, I love to use it. It's funny how big the tiki bar scene is on the west coast and the beach bar scene is here on the east coast. Either way, fun tropical drinks will be had. Thanks for taking us on that tour, Dave. Yeah! After watching your vid where you talk about diva-liqueur, this was a real first-hand experience in that! I truly wasn't expecting it to jump to the front of the flavor profile. Still a good cocktail though, probably one of my favorites! And ya, I loove east coast beach bars, or even just ones near the ocean-- Rusty Knot in Manhattan was one of my favorites, Surfing Pig in south Jersey. But yea! Thanks for watching as always, Vino! Oh man, I'm glad you made it to The Zombie Village! That place along with Smugglers Cove are my go-to bars when I'm out on the town. Glad you were able to make it back to The Bay.

Yes!! Ever since Tiki-Oasis 2019, I had been wanting to visit that one. It's amazing how humongous it is!! And then yeah, Smugglers Cove still the heartbeat of modern tiki in San Francisco, I was happy to finally try some of their rum from their gigantic collection. What a gold mine! Cheers!

I think we are on the same journey. I literally looked at the expedition last night! And, and..I just received my Hamilton Beach drink mixer yesterday as well. I got tired of saying I don’t have one. I’ll use it..right? Yeah, I’ll use it! Great tour. I live on the West Coast and all of these places are on the list! So fun! Cheers my friend! Enjoy your weekend!

Expedition truly is one of the best drinks in the Smugglers Cove book, such a well balanced interesting cocktail. So awesome that you got a flash blender! That will be amazing, make some super authentic-textured cocktails with that beast! Once you get to San Francisco, you'll be overwhelmed with how much fun all these places are, I look forward to you checking 'em out! Funny thing is theres like a trillion tiki bars there, we could have done another day or possibly even two, of visiting the rest of them! Cheers, Ann!

The crazy thing is, there are still a handful of tiki places beyond these 5 bars, so you could make a multiple day trip out of it easily-- or one very very hectic night!

Had this one on one of my to drink cocktails. Great video! Made me realize I wasted my time in San Francisco eating sea food and looking at buildings...

I think I'm going to get Terminated this weekend. Great video! Smuggler's Cove is the only one I've been to. It was packed, as it probably usually is (for good reason.) I was there solo during a work trip, so it was kind of awkward to just stand around sipping a Mai Tai. At least I got to see the place and get a swizzle stick. When I return, I'll definitely get more than one drink. Thanks to this video, I have a whole collection of places to visit next time I'm in SF.

Thanks for watching! Indeed, hopefully this video helps, if you only have time to visit one, I'd say Last Rites, it's so amazing. But yea! Smugglers Cove, that is definitely the tradeoff.. it's such a great bar, but man is it always packed. I usually feel the same way-- jump in, grab a drink, don't get trampled, and then escape! But yes, hope you get to return to try more places someday soon! Cheers!
