This is one case where I feel really bad for the people who had to witness the crime scene. I still don't know how the detectives didn't just stop him and call him a disgusting piece of shit because I'd have spit in his face and been cool with getting fired. There's NO WAY I could remain calm in front of something so abhorrent, I can't even call him someone, he's not human. He's next level scary. I honestly hate thinking about the ways Maria suffered. This is the literal stuff nightmares are made of.

Never, in my entire life, have I heard of such a horrific case of partner-on-partner violence. And it was all because she was drunk and accidentally called her boyfriend by her ex-husband's name? I can't even comprehend the level of rage he went to in zero seconds. I'd hate to see what he does when someone does something really bad to him. FFS! Disgusting, disturbing, and absolutely atrocious. This poor woman was brutalized in a way I could never even imagine. How are you going to shove your hand up inside of someone and start ripping downward? HOW does that even occur to someone??? I'm just dumbfounded and heartbroken.

A woman can prolapse right? He must have literally ripped her uterus out? Wouldn't the cervix stop you? Only once have I ever had a woman ask me to fist her and it wasn't possible. Basically the thumb kinda stopped that from happening. He violated her from the start. So gross

we all solved this one within 60 seconds. The 911 call was so stereotypical of someone trying to cover their tracks. More interested in spinning a story, than getting help for the victim.

According to the scientists that testified, she likely would have been unconscious very quickly into the attack. It’s still possible they’re lying, but if she was blood-curdling screaming, likely many many passerby’s would have heard.

Very cruel

The "breathing" was most likely agonal breathing, her brain's last attempts to survive before giving way. I've listened to this story before, and I hate this man, no matter what substances he was on. This was beyond cruel. Beyond being monstrous. I have no words for his depravity. I hope she was unconscious through the worst of it, I'm so sorry Maria, rest easy.

Turned my stomach when Fidel states he only put in her what she wanted him to.... and then says ARM!!!! not fingers or fist but ARM.

I remember hearing about this when it happened and I couldn’t believe it. It was one of the most disturbing and painful ways to kill somebody I’ve ever heard of. This dude is mentally broken and is truly the definition of a monster.

This one is horrific, what he does to her is monstrous, I've watched a lot about this crime and can honestly say what she went through is probably the worst i've heard. I just hope she passed out from pain quickly (but I honestly don't think she did).

This story always blows my mind , to think someone who supposedly loves someone could do this to them is just……there’s no word bad enough…

WOW.😮 I've been into true crime for years and out of every case I've heard, this one really got to me. He's a lying, sick monster.

I admit, being a woman, it was a little hard hearing some of that. Sometimes, it's hard to try not to remember things from my past. But, it's important to remember this is Maria's story. She is the one that experienced all of that. She is the one that suffered through ALL of that and lost her life. That is why I LOVE your channel. To me, every one of your videos are told in a way that honors the victim and tells it like it is about each monster. Thank you for being awesome! I LOVE the cut of your jib!

I have never heard of having sex in the closet. The bathroom, maybe if you have a very luxurious tub to accommodate two people but I doubt this was the case here. He is a liar, a monster, a cold blooded killer. He does not deserve forgiveness although if he is a Christian we need to forgive his crime. It's not easy.

I was thinking the same, had to read comments while some of those scenes were playing.

I’ve heard this case covered a few times over the years now, and normally I detect it in the title and skip it because it is hands down absolutely the most horrifically gory case I’ve heard yet. This one truly is just horrific. RIP to the poor victim and condolences to her friends and family who have to cope with knowing the awful things she went through for the rest of their lives.

The pain that poor woman must have been in is heartbreaking.

I don't know any woman that would ask for this type of 'act' in the bedroom. A warning to all women, if a man is willing to leave his wife and 2 kids for YOU, he probably is not worth keeping around. It will just be a matter of time before the tables are turned.

I've heard this case on several channels. I think it was handled much better here. This is such a heartbreaking case.

Cops really can’t do anything about screaming at each other. Yelling at each other isn’t a crime. At most they could get a noise violation ticket.

While I agree there is a reason why neighbors may not report domestic violence. Legally, if you have too many complaints with the police you can be evicted from your apartment. There's also retaliation from the abuser I'd the victim does not press charges and they are not taken to jail or proved from the property. Ive been neighbors to domestic violence and the experience gave me PTSD. Listening to someone being stomped into the floor screaming for their life, then denying when then police show up. I was afraid to make noise in my own Apartmemt so they wouldn't know I was home and that it was me who called. I even parked my car down the street and called out of work so I didn't have to walk out past the police after I called. The neighbors said they didnt hear a woman voice and they just moved in.

There are no words for just how unbelievable this case was, the things some humans (though a better descriptor in this case would be monster as you said) are capable of doing to another human disgusts me. The only saving grace is that Maria was likely unconscious for most of the atrocious things that happened to her.

I've seen Maria's story a few times and it always gets to me!! Just because Maria accidentally called him by her ex's name, he suddenly turned into a raving lunatic! There's NO WAY she asked him to do THAT to her ... there's not a woman alive who would, no matter how much alcohol she had consumed! Because of the volume of true crime docos I've watched over the years, I think I've become somewhat desensitised to the horror. But the very thought of what he did to her body always sends shivers of revulsion down my spine! He is truly a monster and deserves to spend the rest of his miserable life behind bars! I’ve watched the entire interrogation and it is shockingly brutal. Maria went through absolute torture that I won’t ever forget. This case is perhaps my #1 or #2 top domestic violence brutality cases that live in my head. Serious hat tip to the detectives who sat in the room with this monster, got the confession, and didn’t strangle him or vomit.

It's truly horrifying, isn't it? The details you've described are the kind that chill you to the bone and leave you questioning how someone can be so detached from humanity and empathy. The absurdity of the story he presented, against such a gruesome scene, is baffling and deeply disturbing.

I didn't recognize the name Maria Nemeth but as soon as I heard the 9-11 call I was like, "oh great, it's that asshole."

This will possibly forever be the only true crime story to make me physically ill, the first time I heard about it I had to turn off the video and didn’t listen to the rest for awhile. The crime scene is hard when I see it for some reason I can so vividly see the scene and imagine what was happening and the descriptions I originally heard were so graphic it was impossible NOT to immediately see it in my mind and I just instinctively put my hand on my uterus 😭 I cannot even grasp how a human being could do that and then be communicating with detectives shortly afterwards like he’s having a beer with his buddies. Idk how he didn’t absolutely lose his entire mind. She NEVER asked for anything he said, I don’t believe any of his story.

😮 I watch a show called 'The Boys', it's graphic and your description of this crime sounds like it was pulled off a script from that show. There is NO WAY I would imagine this happening in real life! NO! This man is a monster, I hope he is haunted by what he did for every single second he lives and breathes.

I’m at the 10:18 mark, and I’m going to get sick. Maria went through some agonizing and horrendous pain, and my heart breaks for her. What this monster had done was absolutely horrific, atrocious, disgusting, disturbing, and stomach turning! He went from whatever to demonic in less than 60 seconds, and all due to her accidentally calling him her ex-husband’s name. They were both super intoxicated, and that sometimes happens, but NOBODY deserves to be murdered in the manner that Maria was murdered. Rest In Paradise Maria!!

I watch alot of True Crime..and,though I always have empathy for the victims,and sympathy for their families 😕 I tend to look at these cases in a detached manner,sort of compartmentalize them,like I imagine a Detective or Medical Examiner would. However,there are just a few that stick with you in a way,that actually hurt you. It doesn't matter that you don't know these victims,these ones are so horrific that you'll never be able to even believe this could happen,and you'll most definitely never forget. This is one of those cases!
