This is AWESOME!! Thanks!
This is not in any way related to the subject of the stream, but I feel like I need to express. I have to get new glasses next month. You have inspired me with yours, Megan. Really cool and beautiful on you.
Such a lovely reading. Thank you Megan.
Thanks Megan.
The stream did start soon. Thank you for this epic video.
wow, THANK YOU!! This is wonderful.
Being a writer, I like how they use the device of the cliff hanger to keep people interested. And you're reading was great, Megan!
Megan beautiful reading thank you. I have a question of about the story. I noticed many lines of the Epic repeat themselves like a Song or Poem. Is their any evidence or theories that this story is supposed to be sung like a song?
I LOVE your glasses!!!
Love your blue hair!!!
oh man the glasses
I would really appreciate if somebody who is actually learned in cuneiforms to make a video for each cuneiform tablet and go through it letter by letter , word by word , visually explaining what it means and how it is translated. Cuneiform tablets look fragmented so I’m wondering how did Benjamin Foster came up with such a beautiful flowing translation ? Are the name pronunciations of people and places just a modern British pronunciation or are they really the ancient Sumerian pronunciations ? We loose track of history through mispronunciations and renamings. For example Christ is a silly British pronunciation of Greek Kristos and it barely resembles the original pronunciation of the Greek word.
I've heard Enkidu means "Enki created".
i was hoping Dr Foster was a lecturer at the University of Gloucester

Gilgamesh and Enkidu did a lot of jerk moves, but I still felt bad when Enkidu died.
You rock! Dr. Josh is a lucky man ❤
Reading begins at 6:00. Megan's English accent, to these American ears, makes me think inevitably of the long running BBC series "Listen With Mother" (1950-1982): "Are you sitting comfortably? Then I'll begin."
Most Independent Bookshops should have the Epic also.
Why doesn’t Josh dye his hair to match??
Cute hair
World first forgery
So reading Mesopotamian tablets drive you mad. I think Lovecraft wrote about that...
Nice but I was honestly expecting a reading in the original language
