The love and expertise of a topic with a rich dose of intellectual honesty is what makes books into classics. Young readers can detect sugar coating or when their intelligence is being insulted. Thank you Dr. Casey for provding a look at how Ancient Egypt really was.

Awww so awesome to put a face to Megan Lewis! I just discovered Dr. Kipp Davis and Dr. Jennifer Bird, and have heard Dr. Josh bring up his wife Megan. This was extremely refreshing.

What was the uses of coriander at the time? Was it a part of wine making?

I wish there were more books which tell us how people actually lived back then (not only Egypt). And Digital Hammurabi's been a channel I'm getting book recommendations from for a while :). Thanks for the cool interview! P.S. A law aimed at books which teach non-Biblical history?.. With all due respect, WTF. Every time I hear about these initiatives I am taken aback.

This is such an amazing project, I can't wait to read the book! We need more of this data-driven historical scholarship for kiddos!
