I am working on an Avatar fan fiction. About Macai, a young commander who bends white fire and dated Azula. And it will be awesome and out in December. @@MandatoryFruit probably because he know hidden skills from the dragons that's not shown in the show, like working out increase muscle activity/ burning calories, which converts to energy that he store internally that he can bend{ dude literally is know for that } that or he is so attune to the spirit world that the eclipse have an effect on him, but dude is so in control that he can still fire bend as seen in his escape, either way he is a special one.

What happened? -Both Iroh and Ozai were raised by the same abusive father, Azulon: Azulon favoured Iroh and mistreated Ozai....although Iroh was being abused, just in a different kind of way: Azulon, by abusing Ozai, he was telling Iroh: "This is what it's going to happen to you if you dissapoint me." -Ozai allowed his obsession with being acknowledged by his father to corrupt and poison his mind. It doesn't look like it, but Ozai doesn't believe in himself and never earned anything he received, all he did was stealing it from others.

@@chuuchuu4018 it is. Just because it wasn't made in Japan, doesn't mean that it can't be an anime. Many of the Japanese will tell you that ATLA is anime and if you're going to get upset over that... well... I think you just need to drink some tea.

He truly is my favourite character in all of Avatar. Not only is he in my opinion the best firebender, he is a man who experienced so much in life that he learned from all of it to teach others to not make mistakes that cost them. And the fact that he can be fun and can enjoy life after the loss of his son alone is something to admire.

Ozai is the most powerful firebender in the series as confirmed by the creators(this includes Iroh,Azulon,Sozin,end of series Azula&Zuko),he has more 1v1 experience by always participating in Agni Kais (while Iroh has more army experience) and is ruthless and will not hesitate to kill unlike Iroh. Ozai is also younger and physically better,Irohs only shot would be to redirect lightning at him and its possible he wouldnt try firing lightning at Iroh like he did with Zuko and Aang Ozai is also a master manipulator and even if he was weaker he would use Irohs emotions and their childhood memories against him,Ozai is also acedemically smarter. Iroh is very very powerful,ridiculously knowledgable&wise and very skilled in martial arts but he cant beat Ozai unless he gets lucky

I would love a prequal of Iroh before his son died to see how different he was. He wasn’t full on evil like his brother, but he would be willing to do brutal acts to achieve his goals. If Ba Sing Se would of surrendered he probably would of treated the inhabitants with respect and dignity, but he was definitely willing to kill them all if they didn’t surrender.

Like if uncle Iroh is a legend

Uncle iroh was a living, breathing, character, whom was a spirit guide, walking amongst people. His pleading for Zuko to look inward for is so heart touching.

Avatar was the greatest show of all time. The stories were deep. The fights were epic and the plot is amazing

Uncle Iroh is so patient and understanding I just love his personality it's very rare to find people like him irl

“There are three things all wise men fear: the sea in storm, a night with no moon, and the anger of a gentle man.” I feel as though Iroh is the perfect example of the last thing in the qoute. He is one of the nicest people you know and often underestimated because of that. Then, like the prison guard realized, he is much more than that. To this day he's still the best character to be written imo
