My name is Morgan Ross, and I am a college graduate with a degree in film making and communication (focusing on mass media). Movies, TV shows, comics, and books have always played a huge part in my life.

If Lucy had Carine or Mr. Everdeen, she probably would have had to change the family's surname, given the fact that she could get hung FOR HAVING THE CHILD OF A PEACEKEEPER. Thought at the same time, she would also have to change her identity, which could lead to getting reaped for the 11 or 12 games... Okay Idk what i am saying lol 😂
I really want it say that Foxface killed herself. Adding on to the original theory, she could’ve easily won without killing anyone. But yet again , the capitol might’ve not liked that she didn’t kill anyone, so they would’ve punished her by her actions. So I really think she just killed herself.

I didn't like how David Yates directed it. neither the screenplay.
Long before Songbirds and Snakes came out, it was stated in canon that the (supposed) District 12 Victor that mentored Haymitch was the "only District 12 victor in history," and was described as a "man on the older side." Obviously now, this conflicts with Lucy Gray's existence. Whether Suzanne Collins is conscience of this or not, this apparent inconsistency can possibly be cleared up with a specific theory. I theorize that when Snow had eventually become President, he did whatever he could in his power to erase any and all memories of Lucy Gray ever existing. This would likely include instilling a false victor in her place to be a designated mentor for future District 12 tributes. This is substantiated by the fact that this mentor was suggested to have been "not been very much help" to the four tributes that were reaped for the 50th games. Furthermore, we already know that after Haymitch won his games; he was severely punished by Snow for the stunt he pulled with the force field. Coincidentally, the "victor" that mentored Haymitch died right around the same time as Haymitch's loved ones. This could suggest that Snow decided to kill this false victor as well so that Haymitch would be forced to be the sole mentor to all future tributes of 12; essentially adding insult to injury. This is possibly because Snow would surmise that the false victor would not really be mourned, and that it would only further his desire to make an example out of Haymitch for future victors.

This really helped to humanize the Longbottoms, which makes what happened to them even more tragic.
Make Harry a total jerk because woke. Make Cedric a death eater because woke Make Hermione Granger black because woke and just being female doesn't check enough boxes Use time travel because lazy writing. This sounds like something Disney did.
Suzanne Collins should make it canon that Foxface committed suicide, and she should DEFINITELY make it canon that Maude Ivory is Katniss's grandmother.
When Hermione is called a mudblood by Draco, she doesn’t know what it means and it’s Ron who explains it. Also, it’s Ron who tells the group about James Potter being a seeker, not hermione.

There's so much movie viewers miss because of how condensed movies have to be from books. A part of me misses the days when you could just assume everyone knew the books, even when there were the rare people who hadn't.
The only reason I even vaguely like this movie is because Logan Lerman is so cute 😭😭😭
Overall, I think the book was better, but the movie did a better job in a few areas imo. I liked that Luna found Harry rather than Tonks I really liked Slughorn's portrayal (as well as young Tom Riddle), excellent casting on both of them I liked that the reveal of a horrcrux wasn't until the memory had been retrieved, adding more mystery rather than them knowing but not knowing from the first fragmented memory. I also like the little scene where Ron and Harry fight over the newer book. Just kind of adds some character to their relationship I also prefer how the relationship between lavender and Ron ended in the film
The cinematography of this movie is always praised as being one of the best looking movies in the series, but the excessive shadows and dark zones make it hard to see what's going on
I never had any issues with her
I rather enjoyed the casting for slughorn. I think he did a marvelous job, especially with the microexpressions and body language
They left out Peeves the Poltergeist.
Goblet of fire and half blood prince sucked and deathly hallows part 2 was okay but not great

On the trace plot hole: there were actually several days between when Harry used magic and when the order arrived at #4. I’d guess that they somehow used their connections in the ministry to mute any alerts from that area for the night.

I don't get what's so difficult. Instead of saying "I just know", you could literally copy the quotes of the book. You've literally got the book right there, so why not use it? Also - how could you mess this up - why say "mean to" instead of "annoy"? I feel like that was maybe made on purpose. No need for second thoughts just COPY THE BOOK-

When I read the books as a kid I was so shocked when fudge turned into such a asshole at the end of book 4. Because in cos, poa and the first half of gof he is quite likeable despite acting a little dumb sometimes. Even harry liked him at first.
