Stop pretending to be above it, find an appropriate time to get it out of your system, and move on. Kinks and stuff are just little shortcuts on how you specifically get there faster. But if you’re reconstructing your whole lifestyle and identity around it, and it’s not something significant like what kind of romantic partner you can be with or your sense of gender/role in society, then you need to dial it back. But I think a lot of these people already know that and think they can get off to the self-humiliation aspect they perceive from it.
