I want ya'll to know that I was praying that the Cowboys wouldn't choke on national TV while I was at my Childhood friend's wedding... When it happened I made peace with the fact that it would come out late. The whole night everyone was roasting me for the L was well... But I hope I made up for it with 2 rapid recaps tonight :) Cowboys Video: kzread.info/dash/bejne/qJymksGvhdi2mqw.html

@@nautgamingnautgaming9949 I think your insight is spot on. I'm a Cowboys fan, so I enjoy watching the Eagles implode (we are good at it as well, lol), but it was almost like their opponents had a copy of their playbook. But unlike Bill Belacheat and the old Patriots, I think the Eagles' opponents did it legally by simply figuring out the patterns called out by a bad coach.

@@deivias2170Baker deserves a Geno Smith-style contract. Will he sign something like that though? Not sure. Geno taking such a big discount compared to what he could have gotten on the market is an aberration. Usually, in a contract year when you just put up the type of season Baker had this year, or Geno last year, you get top-tier money regardless of where the market was in the past. But if Baker isn’t willing to take a tier below elite money, I wouldn’t sign him. These big contracts cripple teams over time, and those big contracts should only go to guys who can carry the load when they aren’t getting much support. Mahomes, Burrow, or Allen are the three only guys I feel are worth top-of-the-market money.

Most people will never know all the wear and tear Lineman take year after year not including College+HS years. Hoping Jason continued success after the NFL with his New Heights Podcast, Coaching, Community Outreach, and Mentorship Programs. At 14m per year, the Eagles themselves might move on themselves and go after Younger Players like GB will be doing with David Bakhtiari at 19M in Dead Cap Charge after the season due to Injury. Baker Mayfield has more postseason victories this year than the teams that dropped his ass. Baker played for most of a season with an injury to his non throwing arm that made it painful to sleep and made it impossible for him to properly follow through on his passes, affecting his accuracy. It also screwed up his mechanics which he is just now recovering. I think the kid got a raw deal. Seeing the total mess the Browns are about to become because they gave all their cap space to one player who has only managed to play a handful of games is his best revenge.

Our defense was flat out not good enough to be a championship caliber team. But our offense was the product of terrible coaching and the loss of our OC. If we still had Steichen, we would still be playing and would have been doing so as the 2 seed. Probably still not good enough to get to the superbowl with our bad defense, but we would have been strong enough to make it to the Championship game. Sad. Coaches need to go. I appreciate you making the effort to cover Philadelphia and try to be unbiased Mike. The value of practicing that is under appreciated. It requires integrity and a willingness to adhere to ethical standards to try and be objective. As an Eagles fan, I embrace the rivalry between the birds and the cowboys. Fans of both teams should be proud of the healthy level of competition they can give each other twice a season. Standings and smack aside. After this game, the Eagles are in a position that nobody has envy for. They have a great roster, but clearly the marriage between coaches and players is not the right one. Losing Steichen was a huge blow for Philly. The offense was stale down the stretch and there were so many problems that they couldn’t give enough attention to. I really think jalen played through a lot of injuries that hampered his play this year. The offense was way too basic and did not give him enough presnap reads. The eagles were dead last in playcalls with motion, which is THE MOST basic tool a team can use to read the defense. The defense…. That’s a whole conversation on what happened. Dropping reddick into coverage is a 4-word combo that will give any person in the city of Philadelphia a boost in cortisol. Patricia coming in and taking over was a bad call. The line is too old. The secondary showed its age too. With Sirianni, I could see him staying or leaving. Whatever Lurie and Roseman are planning for, it could go either way. If they swing for the fences and hit… they will go big. If they don’t have a shot then sirianni gets next year. The front office will have sat on who gets the OC/DC jobs this year if he stays. I think the front office like Sirianni and his energy but clearly his judgement is a concern. Gannon and Steichen were solid and if they want to get back they’ll have to find people that can scheme as effectively. That’s a tough job.

I got roasted last year for saying the Eagles had an easy schedule and basic offense. But still, they are one of those teams that are always competitive at year end. I thought for sure they'd play harder than this. The offense sucks, say what you will about Chip Kelly and his goofy scheme; but that may get better results lol. The shotgun run up the middle every play, that's what this new offense is starting to look like Edit: they went for 2 because they were on the 1 yard line and 11-16 makes it 1 score if Bucs kick a field goal

Eagles fan here. First off, great content and I'm glad to see you're keeping it real about the eagles when you take into consideration that you're a cowboys fan. I hope you read what I've got to say because I'm giving you A LOT of context. I'm sure you don't have all day to watch a bunch of teams streamers but for this topic, I'd check out some of Philly 500s content when it comes to this. He's absolutely right. Last nights game- The eagles defense couldn't tackle for sh*t and it was pretty embarrassing. They made a few stops (Mostly by Brandon Graham) but the offense never took advantage of those stops. Bradberrys horrendous. He was halfway decent last season but last night, it didn't look like he could stop a 5 year old in the open field. Hurts made some good throws but also some bad choices by staying in the endzone for a safety instead of throwing it away in someone's direction to try and avoid it. The ONLY two eagles player that went to that game to play hard was Devonta Smith and Brandon Graham. Overall- I've watched some bad seasons for the eagles where they just didn't have good players and they maybe squeaked out 5 wins for the whole season but nothing like this. To start out on top of the league and actually beating good teams but then completely collapse and drop that many games when it mattered most makes it very clear that something drastically went wrong. You don't see that very often. For starters when it comes to the issues, I think losing BOTH coordinators was a huge blow to the team especially OC shane steichen. Goes to show how valuable he was to the teams offensive play calling. Losing coordinators happens all the time but teams with GREAT head coaches don't get affected too badly, which leads to this piece about Nick Sirianni. This speaks volumes about his coaching ability or should I say lack thereof. He's in waaaaay over his head and should probably step down as HC. From where I'm sitting and a lot of other eagles fans, he lost the locker room entirely. It's believed that something happened in the locker room between the coaches and the players after the bills game because when they played the 49ers, you could see in warmups that they had no fire whatsoever. The niners beat the sh*t out of an eagles team that had already beaten themselves internally. When the niners were taunting them in warmups, eagles players didn't even care. They weren't fired up or anything. They haven't had a fire at all in the last few months. You can see it in their pathetic tackling. You can even see it whenever they do score. They haven't gotten real excited at all. For instance, when the chiefs, cowboys or the niners score a touchdown, they're jumping around, screaming like lunatics and getting pumped up like their lives depend on being that crazy about it. Even if it's just the first quarter against a really bad team where it's like "okay, you're playing the Commanders... settle down. Everyone knows you're going to demolish them". The eagles haven't played with that type of fire for most of the season which should indicate the locker room is a total mess from the entire coaching staff and down to every player. They need to replace Sirianni with a head coach that knows what he's doing, respectable and has serious discipline that hold players accountable. They need a new defensive coordinator and offensive coordinator as well. Coordinators that ACTUALLY know what they're doing. Overhaul the defense when it comes to their mentality and how they play aggressively and LEARN TO F***IN TACKLE. Dawkins was a feared defensive player when he played for the eagles because he hit hard and made stops. The guy played like he was a drugged up lunatic on every down. Nobody fears the eagles defense anymore and you can see it.

I think Siriani was trying to spark some momentum by getting that 2pt conversion. It failed miserably, although there was a clear face mask with them blatantly dragging Jalen by the helmet, but it is what it is at that point. Everything else you said is spot on as usual! Let's not forget that Deebo said Bradberry was trash last year during the superbowl run in a podcast a few days before the game if I remember correctly. He also said they had a game plan against the defense if Purdy didn't get hurt which is likely a similar game plan that the 49ers used against the Eagles this season and we all know how that game went.
