The Egyptian myth of Isis and the seven scorpions - Alex Gendler

Dive into the Egyptian myth of Isis, a powerful goddess protecting her son from her murderous brother with the help of seven scorpions.
--
A woman in rags emerged from a swamp flanked by seven giant scorpions and approached a magnificent mansion to beg for food. But the mistress of the house took one look at her grimy clothes and unusual companions and slammed the door in her face. Little did the mistress know the woman was no ordinary beggar, but the most powerful goddess in Egypt. Alex Gendler details the myth of Isis.

I mean not much with Hercules but where were skeptics. A lot of myth especially the myth about how the world and the gods were created had several different adaptations , the most well known ones being written in kinda story myth books and were seen as mostly only legends but there were some people to believe them of course. There wasn't one big book with all the history and all the myths .. so because people made up their own idea of gods a lot of skeptics appeared

well... Ra was an older generation (alongside Shu, Tefnut (his children), Geb and Nut (his grandchildren)) than Isis, Osiris and so on, older gods mean they aren't so close to humans as the younger ones, they don't understand humans, so they act like we are ants. It's a bit the same with Greek mythos, Zeus and the lot were very human (but a bit in the mean side of our nature), but Zeus' dad was a titan, something so strange from gods and humans that gods just waged war with them in order for the whole world to exist as we know it.

Nakul Haridas Well, another reason is that it emphasizes Isis’ domain over magic. According to Kemetic myth, all things, from the grain to the stars, have a nature, and thus, a name that conveys their nature, and Isis is revered as chief patron of magic because she, foremost, understands all of their natures, hence she commands them via names.

I love how much effort is put into these videos, people have to animate and draw, and people have to read the script which they do so well. They also have to hire experts and occasionally free lance writers like Alex Gendler. Also in videos where the gods or deities' names are hard to pronounce they try so hard.
