@@orangutank626 The funny part is, Helios is also the one who moves the sun with his chariot. So it might be also something, along "Hey buddy, I noticed you shot at me. Was a good hit on my sun. Take my car, which is the sun/is attached to the sun."

I am not a native English speaker, and also the one who afraid of reading ancient myths because of too many hard words to start and persist in reading it. This video truly helps and I am really grateful for Ted ed’s devotion with free payment! Thanks god!

Trust me, speaking English is worth it. There’s lots of fun stuff you can do with it. You can make any noun a verb for instance. It’s not a formal grammar rule but you can do it. Edit: thought an example could be fun. An example of making a noun a verb could be “I can’t language well.”

I personally love the thing with atlas. Atlas was tired of holding the damn thing that he did not want to swap again, but heracles told him "yea sure, but I would need to fix my posture, can you hold the sky for me for a bit". But when atlas grabbed it again heracles just ran off with the apples.

I had this as a video game concept for a while now called 12 labors where the gameplay is like Castlevania and ghost and goblins and the main way to enter a stage is by looking at a statute of a labor like the nemean lion down in eurithyus's dungeon, while the hub world is eurithyus's castle, and you would sometimes fight a mini boss before the real boss like in the hydra stage were you fight the crab first before the hydra, and the final boss would be hera as she teleports you to Olympus ( other game ideas I had are called sinner's quest and burger man )

For the record, Hercules is the Roman name. Heracles is the Greek name.

Hera sort of took over from Hestia, the goddess of the hearth, family, and domesticity. She was the eldest sister of Zeus, an awesome god who was kind to everyone (so even Hades would listen to her) but became obscure when she gave up her seat to Dionysus to keep them from fighting again, according to rumour. Hestia is probs best girl that noone knows about.

It's not 8-Bit, but check out Apotheon. Great game set in Greek myth in the style of Ancient Greek pottery

The Scenery in this video is so amazing it made me way more interested in greek myth

please make another story in this style because it is AMAZING

you're right though, heracles is the greek version, hercules is the roman version. it gets confusing because "hercules" is used even when talking about greek myths

Just imagine if this was a game... I'll play it for hours.
