Oh...and ETS, as an E4....fuckin points were thru the roof cause they merged 3 MOSs together. Only way was to max the PT and didnt aee that happening simce i hated running

I never made it past E-3. Yea I was a bastard hell I still am. But the only place that understood me and took me in was the mafia. And together we brought the roof down.

Well for special forces or ops, sure

the godfather had 19 years time of service. When I was in the US Army you could only serve 12 years as a E-4. I had a real good friend in my unit who ETSed the same time I did and he was a E-4 who had to get out because he served 12 years and wouldn't go for E-5 because he was one twice and took it twice.

That CRISPY ‘bout face from the BDU Godfather took me out!!! 😂

we had a guy that manage to dodge promotion and boards til he retired a E4 , and skipped on EVERY deployment . How the hell did he get away with it ?

Last Christmas I ran into an old friend who was in the service with me. He was playing Santa and collecting coins for the Salvation Army outside the local supermarket. I dropped some change in his red kettle. While in conversation We laughed and joked , saying the term " E-4 Mafia" loud enough for all to hear. Several old timers nearby laughed and saluted me spouting their rank, time and grade, and where they served. We all smiled and wished each other a Merry Christmas.

I did e4 mafia shit as an e3 and was disowned by the mafia for being to extreme. So I just became a rogue sham artist till I got out

I "unofficially" had to do that...once. Three things saved my ass: 1. ) My platoon Sergeant was "old school." 2. ) It was self defense. and 3.) The dumbass deserved it. I won't go into any details, but suffice it to say, after a few stitches, I never had any trouble with that Private ever again. He straightened up his act and my "Platoon daddy" said, unofficially,: "If he ever tries that horseshit again, lay in a couple of boots for me."

I used to be part of the E4 mafia years ago. OMG this is so funny!!!!

Mental Mand'alor that’s correct, I got 2 articles within a week and a half of eachother. Got knocked down to E3, I’ve since rejoined the mafia. The outgoing BC sought mercy in honor of the mafia. I’m now a 4 year SPC.

I know a guy that was in my Air National Guard unit, dude was in his mid 50's. The guy RETIRED as an E-4, granted, he was an E-6 but got demoted twice for not passing PT (had a big ass belly!) and he was also AWOL a few drills. At the end, the commander was so fed up with him that he told him to do all his remaining drill together and never show back at the unit.
