The Drifta 60L Water bladder mod

@ACAFWD @DRIFTA @WATERBLADDER
So I love changing things to suit the way I like to use things and I decided to build a wooden box to hold the water bladder in the back of the Ranger. It is made so you can put it in and pull it out really easily.
On trips where I go by myself or with the wife, we can fit the bladder in the rear seats. Otherwise this box fills some unused space under the roller shutter.

    Yeah mate. You cop that on a main road. Been living here for around 40 years and the traffic has only grown in that time.

    So you bought a bladder to put it in a box and use it as a normal tank? Sweet..

    Ah no. I bought a bladder so I can fit it wherever I need it. Back seat. Back of vehicle, on the floor. Can’t do that with a normal tank. But hey. You knew that. Sweet!

    Hi like your videos. The Drifta site doesn't say they have pump etc! Is that correct? Thanks

    Hi Patrick, Correct. When you purchase the bladder you get the bladder and some hoses. This is enough to get anyone started. But there is no shower rose and pump. I purchased these items as part of my Joolca shower tent. That way I can just move the parts from one use to another. (I actually got the tent beecause of a video I saw Luke do a while back). I am aware they do sell some of these items as accessories at joolca.com.au. The other option is to purchase a pump on ebay (They start for around $35) and then go to bunnings and get the hose parts for it. This would be much cheaper.

    Is the box defeating the idea of a water containers/ jerry cans/ tank?

    +Robert Wilson no. It is simply allowing me to choose where to use it. Either in the car stand alone or in the tray in the box so it won’t move 😃👍

    Hi! Brillant ideas! What brand of motor pump do you recommend to get? Also, I have a space of 670x440x18mm. I want to fill that space. Would that 60L fill that space tight? Thanks!
