The Distracted Mind
The Nineteenth UCI Distinguished Lecture Series on Brain, Learning and Memory
Our brains, despite remarkable capabilities, have distinct limitations. Dr. Gazzaley explores how our brains manage the river of data that constantly floods it, how its capacities can be exceeded, the consequences of this on our performance, and if a solution to the distracted mind is harnessed within our own brains.

Wonderful talk - unfortunate about the video production. Flipping between him and slides is very badly done. Should have had him small in a corner and slides take most of screen like CiscoLive videos. Also need a way to see where he is pointing to on the slides. 30m35s I could hardly believe my eyes when he showed the audience the test slides but the camera missed them !!! :(:(:(
It's sad that such a great video has such low viewership
I'm almost turning 23. I'll try to enjoy my good week before it goes on a long slope down LOL
Speaking of distractions, this guy's hand gestures are on another level
