The Disappearance of Helen Bailey

Ойын-сауық

Helen Bailey was a successful British author, who went missing in 2016. Helen Bailey disappeared while out on a walk with her dog, and when her partner, Ian Stewart called the police four days later, the search was on. From the start the police were suspicious of Ian Stewart, until a neighbour reveals something awful hidden beneath the house.

    So Helen met him, took him and his two sons into her home and gave him access to the joint account. She was very wealthy and was going to marry him. Yet this still wasn't enough for him. What a foul slob.

He sat there and watched how excited she was to remarry and be in love after losing the love of her life, only thinking of killing her and taking her money. You could even tell during the interview with the police he didn't give a shit, couldn't even be arsed to come up with a believable story of his fiancee being happy and cheerful before tragedy.

  • @chelssss

    @chelssss

    3 жыл бұрын

    @@Liliquan the same could be said for men, only they are judged solely by their wealth. Regardless, we don't get to know her personality through this video. The only facts we can take from the video are: 1-she was wealthy and 2-she was physically attractive. To comment on her personality you'd have to make assumptions based on wealth and appearance, because that's all we actually know about this woman. OP couldn't possibly comment on her personality. IMO, making assumptions about one's personality based on wealth and appearance perpetuates an unhealthy way of thinking. Just as you believe it's unfair that women only get praise for their appearance, and I believe men only get praise for their money. It is extremely unfair (and sometimes even dangerous) to make assumptions about someone based on their attractiveness and social status.

There are predators out there, known as covert malignant narcissists; they roam, looking for vulnerable women to take advantage of... They are very good actors and will become your soul mates, just to get close and then take everything they can get from you-- It doesn't always end in murder, but that does happen. Ladies, when a man seems too good to be true, he usually is. Please be more careful, more discerning and always be aware!!! Don't ignore red flags, or that off feeling in your gut... The love bombing thing is so true. I have scattered comments all over talking about my abusive ex, but the part I never talk about is why I would stay. And it was definitely the love bombing. Constant compliments and always wanting to hang out. If I ever needed anything, it’s like he had a sixth sense and his head would pop up like, “what do you need?” I actually stayed with him a lot in the beginning because of it. He had told me he was bipolar and I had definitely seen a couple of moments where his mood would just flip. I realized later that his mood swings were in sync with any time I was doing something he didn’t like, ie having male friends. But, at that time I was oblivious and thought, “ he must really like me and might be worried I can’t hang with a temper that bad.” So I thought he was doing it to make up for the bipolar moments. I don’t think that anymore though. I think he’s apd not bipolar and doesn’t know how to act in love, so he does what he sees other people do, just in concentrated doses. I think he doesn’t really have empathy, he just learned how to make it seem like he does. Which is why it comes out so over the top and sappy. It’s kinda funny, now anyone who treats me too nice in the beginning has my alarm bells going crazy.

    I've never heard of someone taking another call while on the phone reporting a disappearance/death to emergency services, but I guess it does make sense if you've put out feelers and the person calling is someone who may have information that would affect the missing person's report.

    He is truly revolting...but it's how psychopaths work, unfortunately. they might not be 'physically' gorgeous, but from the sounds of it she was infatuatd with him and couldn't see him for what he really was. When psychopaths want something from you, (in her case her money) they can absolutely convince you that they are charming, loving, kind, generous, and affectionate. they play the long game for just long enough until they don't need you anymore. Then you will be brutally and callously discarded- either emotionally or literally! I think our perceptions of him vs her perception of him speak volumes to how these APD malignant's methods work.

I noticed that Helen didn't have any children because it crossed my mind during the video that if she had then she might not have ended up with someone like that POS because I imagined that any kids she would have had would have had her back and supported her meaning that she wouldn't have been an easy target.
