After three years of giving my all to this project, I feel so grateful to be able to finally release this project today on my birthday. I really want to thank my friend and teammate Ariadna for dedicating her talents and skills gathered over an entire career of dancing and performance across the globe to do this project together underwater in my backyard. Most of the shoot days for this project would only be Ariadna and I out on the boat doing everything: driving the boat, pulling anchor, scuba safety, lens changes, logistics, production management, etc. This is only possible with complete trust and dedication to a project between the persons involved and I wouldn’t want to have done this project with anyone else in the world. Thanks, Tanis for working with us composing this original music for yet another one of my underwater short films. Thank you to everyone who helped us with the logistics of this shoot and pulled together to make things work despite the many difficulties we faced along the way.

The fact that this is shot completely underwater absolutely blows my mind. Even underwater, the shots, the composition, maintaining the line of action and most importantly DOING ALL OF THIS AND SHOOTING IT UNDERWATER. This is art. The dancer and the production crew, hats off. This is amazing.

Andre just gave film a new life, his underwater film just showed us that film can still capture us and take us on an incredible adventure with real life and all without CGI, which isn’t seen often these days. Also she is real life Aquawoman.🧜🏼♀️🔱

As a diver myself, I can say this is the most incredibly orchestrated piece of work I’ve seen; for it to be underwater below these depths makes it even more breathtaking. Just Wow. Incredible work
It was very clever to pose the dancer as if there was a gravitational force underwater, that was very imaginative! It makes this fantastic work of art more surreal because the usual buoyancy forces underwater normally cancel gravity.

Wow, what a beautiful project!
I've been hooked on the magic of dance since first seeing west side story in the early 60's. Since then I've seen many performances, still images and films of this captivating art-form mixing athletics and musicians. With no doubt, this is the most unique blending of performance, music and cinematography I've ever seen. I will be sharing this with many dancers and photographers I know. All involved should feel very proud.

I saw the behind the scenes first and I think it adds a whole lot more of emotion to the experience of watching this knowing that you actually recorded underwater, and she had to hold her breath for who knows how long in each take while perfoming a choreography. Anyone else would've just hired vfx artists, but the fact that you guys went through the whole experience makes this piece feel more real and more beautiful. It's just... wow.

Please submit this to all the festivals, it's so beautiful, so much talent and trust to create this and deserves all awards! I'm just thinking how much dancing alone looks easy but really isn't and you guys did all of this 50ft (?) underwater!
