So can most films with low lighting, 'rain' and extreme close ups and dutch angles.
This was hands down the best short film I have ever watched, especially considering the limited budget and locations. I think this also goes to prove that miniatures still do have a place in modern filmmaking because visually this looked better than most modern sci-fi movies. I'm genuinely amazed!

plus there is a pacing with miniature that gives you time to enjoy imagining what living in such a world would be and feel like. and don't get me started with the opening scene, silent dialogue which is interrupted by the first voice we hear ironic, perfectly timed and the cut scene gives us the wide angle close up on the car with the city backdrop. I was sold on the spot. p.s would like to hear about how you did the green text reflection on the actor's face what a detail!

Wow that’s probably one of the best short films I’ve seen on youtube, how does this not have over 10 million views?
Masterfully produced, wow! It sure would fit right into the Blade Runner "universe." Do another! Our Hero buys his ticket but has to evade detection and capture for a year after killing a cop...
Why does Blade Runner stands the test of time and never aged? Because it's all practical. As for CGI if used with parsimony to amplify a little bit good practical effects it will also stand the test of time. And "Slice of Life" will go down in time the same way, in 25 years it will still look amazing today as it did when first released. As for this short film, it's a masterpiece on every level, and as a big fan of the Cyberpunk Aesthetic you captured that world, that city and the mood like bosses. Well done.

I loved your 'making of' coverage while making the film, and of course the film itself is truly astonishing. There is nothing about this that has an amateur feel to it. It would fit in to the original blade runner very nicely.
What an amazing piece, it was an absolute joy watching this passion project come together over the years. Finally viewing the project in its entirety was captivating.
This tells you the problem with mainstream movies: studios are too rich. Lack of resources forces film makers to be creative. Like this masterpiece. Best realization of cyberpunk I’ve ever seen.❤️
It’s a shame that Hollywood don’t hire artist in their industry. This movie was exactly the kind of work I intend to enjoy and you sir nailed it! I love the depth of the narrative it told though on how much can a human nature’s action could go as far to get what he/she wants.
Those things in life that bring you a deep joy, like favourite songs, movies and beautiful places that motivate you, can be saviours in hard times. And inspire you during better times. This is what 'Slice of Life' does for me. Every time I watch this miniature masterpiece a well of happiness greets me, and stays some time after, making my day richer and keeping me more grateful for being alive. What you have created with this film, the 'making of shorts' and newer projects, all contain within them the gift of love that have untold positive effects. Thank you (again) for your efforts and hard, hard work. And I hope you reap at least some of the benefits from your wonderful tribute to this world of cool, night time, rain soaked neon.
